ABEism has gotten so bad that they literally have to imagine the ball hitting an invisible wire nobody can see and when the sensor confirms that this never happened they triple down on it.

It's not even a phenomenon based on observable reality at this point, its become pure blind faith on the level of an African's believe in pagan voodoo Gods.
Can you see the wire? Well, no.
Can you see it hit the wire? Well, no.
Does the in-built sensor detect the ball hitting the wire? Again, no.
But it has to have hit an invisible wire because if it didn't then that means England won.

This is literal, undeniable, stark mental illness.
