It's pretty crazy to think the only reason the red card was issued is because the referee decided to give a yellow to Paredes. The rules state incorrect yellows can be subject to VAR review, and in this case it correctly was reviewed and reversed.Once you reverse that yellow where there was an instance of obvious simulation, it would look pretty silly if you didn't issue a second yellow to the diving player. Still pretty crazy how one decision to give a yellow card could have such big ramifications.
tldr
So many wonderful happenstances to Argentina!
An egregious dive still warrants yellow regardless. They're independent calls, no "looking silly"
it's crazy but in the end they got the call right, no?I know everyone has Argentina fatigue but it's getting a bit odd
>>156675011Ever notice how coincidences like this happen more in FIFA matches than in general in life?
>>156675921>>156675962Any single call can be argued away as coincidence or ref discretion. It’s the pattern of consistent calls in a single direction that gets egregious. Same match, a bit later, Messi launches himself into a defender in the center of the field just outside the penalty box. No VAR check, no review, straight to a free kick.
>>156675921>An egregious dive still warrants yellow regardless.Where were all the cards for Argentinian dives then?
>>156677160post them
I’ve seen so many games ruined due to the stupid red card rule. Just make it so you eject the player and have them suspend for 2 games. Games are unwatchable if they go down a man
>>156677160you may keep ignoring me but i KNOW it's you picrelalso, argentina and literally any other country decent at futbol dives well, including germany, france, england etcyou're just mad cause brown and cause you can't spam ronaldo anymore
>>156677199Yeah, that's the thing. There were no cards for the Argies. As usual.
a happy accident one could say mayhaps?
>>156677229>dives wellKek. Imagine actually typing bullshit like that out.>muh RonaldoNot everything is about your artificial rivalry, Messi cuck.
>>156675011Just say they cheat
>>156675011It's not crazy at allWith our rigging mind powers we forced the nigger to dive. Also with our rigging mind powers we forced the ref to ignore said dive so we could rig a var intervention and score a rigging hat trick. This all make sense by the way
>>156677121>straight to a free kickhe actually let's the game continue and despite the other argentinian holding the ball with no challenge from reds he goes back to the free kickEmbole is a retard and got baiting for 30minutes by bobos but all these call keep adding up
