This was a very tame match by the standards of Argentina's dirty playing. All the criticism and fingers pointed at them must have gotten to them. Coincidentally, they had a harder time to win.I did enjoy the moment when Messi went down in front of Switzerland's box, the ref decided to let the advantage play out, but the other Argentinian player refused to play which forced the ref to come back to the foul which led to a very well placed free kick straight in front of the goal... Nobody paid any attention to it but it was quitea masterclass.Don't worry though, now that the heat has died down I'm sure they'll be back at it for the remaining two matches.

>>156687882It only started to get easy for Argentina once Switzerland got a red and stopped attacking
The Swiss did dive. It’s just typical that it was the only time an Argentinian player gets carded that he’s actually innocent and it plays out well for them.Because people assume the VAR is just for the dive, this will only highlight every dive Argentina do from now on.At the very least, it’s now safe to tackle Messi again. They won’t dare to give out a yellow knowing they may have to reverse it against the golden boy.
>>156687957He'd never have gotten a yellow for the dive had the ref made the right call to begin with. With the mistake and VAR shit he felt forced to reverse the yellow instead of simply cancelling it.
>>156687957how naive are you? they will continue playing dirty as they did before because they know refs will lick their asses. nothing will change.
>>156686285if messi wasnts a fk then he gets a fk. And no yellow cards for diving ever
