>4 teams that have already won before
Soccer is so boring
>>
Didn't happen like that in 2018 and 2022. In both half semifinalists weren't world champions.
>>
oh no the best teams are the ones that also make it through
>>
To be fair, the CCGs this year were Rams-Hawks and Patriots-Broncos.
>>
>>156688347
Oh wait I forgot soccer fans like seeing the same teams win every fucking year and yet still support their team they know will never win shit cause they're not one of the 2 perennial powerhouse teams in their league
>>
>>156688347
The American public don’t watch games, they’re more of a tiktok, ads and celebrities nation. That’s also why they don’t care about quality of play, only about “story lines”
>>
>>156688393
we had croatia and morocco last time
it's not always the same teams
be quiet
>>
This team hasn't won and they likely won't they're the underdogs but everyone hates England

thanks god

>rigs against kino Norway and Egypt
its boring by design to make maximum money now
>>
maybe don't lose 4-1 to belgium then ? and we might see new champions
>>
>>156688508
Yeah and they both lost
Status quo lived on
>>156688550
2018 Croatia at least made something interesting for once
>>156688552
I'm a Mets fan
>>
bitch we haven't won it since black and white tvs were still popular, don't lump us in with the rest
>>
>>156688678
>last time England won an international trophy was before the moon landing (and it was blatantly rigged)
Really puts things into perspective
>>
>>156688479
>Multiple knockout games decided by selectively enforced VAR red cards, penalty kicks, and disallowed goals
>quality of play
But please, tell me how all of the rules were correctly enforced. Do most soccer fans just lap up everything FIFA feeds to them off the floor?
>>
>>156688393
In countries that dont sacrifice baby foreskins to jews you support your local team and stick with it through thick and thin, you dont just change teams to whoever is doing better
>>
>>156688881
>muh thick and thin
Most teams have zero chance in every soccer league
And there are plenty of American sports teams that have a shitload of fans despite never winning shit like the Lions but yeah only pay attention to the Chiefs and Dodgers
>>
Don't worry, Stephie; when Spain wins, the good guys win. Long live Christ the King and our Mother, the Virgin.
>>
>>156689113
I'd be fine with England or Spain
Fuck France
>>
>>156689197
We're both the good guys.
>>
>>156688522
I don’t like that they have so many players with no English roots
France is even worse but that doesn’t make England good
>>
>>156688292
Yes, winning a title of this level isnt something a lucky underdog can easily pull off
Regardless of that most teams cannot easily mantain their winner status
>Brazil
>Germany
>Italy
>Uruguay
>England
>Spain
Historic winners and recent ones havent been able to win it again, imagine the level of difficulty, some of them in decades! only Spain out of that list was the only one who won it for the first time recently and the only reason why that happened was because they were lucky enough to have a golden generation and a playing style said generation grow playing since they were kids in fucking Barcelona and Madrid
Argentina was desperate to won it in 2022, they wasted like 40 years trying to win it, I dont know how american sports are, what is the equivalent of Leicester City winning the Premier League but you cant easily build underdogs narrative in real football
That is the reason why people got so excited for Cape Verde, it was legit the first time in my whole life I truly saw a underdog in the World Cup, in that sense in my opinion this edition of the World Cup has been the best, everyone assumed teams like Cape Verde or Congo would lose 7-1 all games and that wasnt the case, the cup truly needed more new teams and less well known shitters
>>
>>156690050
Cape Verde still lost early though
It means nothing
>oh you did well against a good team but you still lost haha you're not a serious country LOL
Patronizing bullshit
>>
>>156688292
I agree with you on this one, mutt. I was cheering hard for Norway and Switzerland. Honestly, though, it's on them. Switzerland's dive was ludicrous and Norway had that retard fuck up an easy goal.
>>
>>156688608
This. Asians and Africans only tune in when the famous teams are playing
>>
How does it work in your sports?
>>
>>156688292
>4 teams already won at least 1

I'd be mad too with the constant 4 - 1 reminder
>>
>>156690799
New blood can actually win
Imagine having parity
