If you know anything about football you'll know Manchester United play the anti England protagonist, and traditionally thought of themselves as bigger than England. Its to wind opposition fans up. Their core support is from white areas Salford, Trafford, Shires, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, white flight whites from London. Therefore, supporting Argentinians is seen as acceptable within the fanbase. It can flip the other way of course, with Di Maria and Tevez being examples. Its superficial.
