Once they retire they’re gone forever. Just view the sets that are retiring, find them on a 20 to 30% clearance deal at a retailer - and you’re evergreen.

You could make a fortune on reselling fragrances if designer brands told you the date when their products were retiring. But they don’t. Only LEGO because of their massive inventory are forced to constantly retire old sets and replace them with new ones. They simply don’t have the storage to keep most things after 3 years making it easy for people like me to charge a fortune to people that missed out
