My entire life we have had a WORLD CLASS team, easily the best players in the world, this isn't subjective either, they all play for the top clubs in the world.Yet every 4 years we're considered to have "done well" if we get to the quarter finals. What the fuck? No other nation has this dynamic. If any other major country (Argentina, France, Spain) DON'T get to the quarter finals it's considered a national embarrassment. Why do we always play as the underdog? Why do we always just pass it around the defenders as if attacking (with world class players) is an unfathomable notion?
Premier League club tribalism mentality fucked the national team from mid 93/94 to 2016/17ish.
why is he sitting with pakis doe
>>156700861FWIW, Deschamps was also heavily criticised in 2018 because he was playing uninspiring football with world class talents.

Reality is we've never had that many truly world class players. Even in the meme "golden eras" we weren't winning many CLs. Look at us now. Kane is excellent and starts pretty much anywhere but he's past his prime. Bellingham obviously great as well. Then what? Rice maybe top 5 DM and that's about it.
>>156701193If you do a combined XI between England and France it's the French team except with Rice instead of Rabiot. You wouldn't play Kane over Mbappe and I'd rather have Olise than Bellingham after this season maybe a toss up after this tournament so far. We're just overrated and the English tax makes it worse
>>156700861>easily the best players in the world>they all play for the top clubs in the world. This is just not true, and quarter finals is top 8. The other 7 teams are usually up to similar standards. Italy and Germany were monsters in the past, while Spain was a literal who (still is but they exploit the rules). Croatia has been a regular without many bells and whistles, Belgium and the Netherlands too. Argentina is always there because football is apparently all they care about. England is not anymore special than the other teams in the top 8.
>>156700861Sold his daughter as well
>>156700861Having good players doesn't mean they will play well with each other.
>>156700861You didn't have players of Kane and Bellingham's caliber in the past. Guys like gerrard, beckham, lampard, they played for big teams, but they were never world beaters.
>>156700861This man resembles one of the corpses in Event Horizon that have had their eyes ripped out by themselves>oi've seen the future 'arry.... we won't need VAR where we're goin m8
HES NOT GOING HOME
>>156700861>My entire life we have had a WORLD CLASS team, easily the best players in the worldLMAO NOyou guys are the mexico of europeyour media selling you guys the lie that you are all word class and you all eating that shit upwhen in no competition (except this one) in the past 20 years you guys have been top 4 going into the tournament
>>156700861>My entire life we have had a WORLD CLASS teamStop the clock. That is wrong. England have always had a few World Class players but never a World Class TEAM until recently. Life isn't FIFA and you can't win anything without a solid system.
