Zlatan has spoken.

The ball hit the cable.
>>
Zlatan is the spokesman of the midwits
>>
>>156703316
All good. Now let's see the moment the ball hit the cable.
>>
the sad truth about futbol is that if you dont exagerate and overact to the ref he wont do shit. Norwegians said nothing so nothing changed, same when they got fouled in the small square during a corner kick
>>
>>156703316
I don't watch this sport often but even I know the rules are mostly just guidelines. Not even the refs can explain what is permitted and what is against the "rules"
>>
>>156703373
their whiteness/politeness unironically screwed them over in the end
>>
>>156703373
Norways manager, goalie and Haaland all went up to the ref and pointed up at the cable, but the ref just shrugged, lmao
>>
>>156703373
>Norwegians said nothing so nothing changed
Because nothing happened
>>
>>156703316
I've watched the supposed "proof" about 50 times now desperately trying to force myself to see "it's trajectory changing". Still nothing. I even rewound the 4k footage on my TV last night and couldn't see it there either. If England fans were complaining about this we'd be absolutely ridiculed.
>>
Can somebody please just show me a picture of this fucking cable already?
>>
>>156703316
What happens when you have one ref on a big ass field with 22 people on it

they should have stopped the game after the goal , not day after the game
>>
>>156703316
STILL no HD video of it happening. FIFA released the sensor data and there was no bump or anything to indicate anything happened
>>
>>156703496
funny how none of the players complained before the goal was scored
>>
Instead of blaming the ref you should blame FIFA and their retarded bloating of the show, because at this point the whole thing is nothing but a show.

We don't need 10 camera angles. We don't need all those people and crap lying around the vicinity of the pitch.

The ref needs to have absolute authority and autonomy and if he screws up, too bad. And most importantly, none those faggots don't need to earn 7-figure salaries.
>>
>>156703409
>Norways manager, goalie and Haaland all went up to the ref and pointed up at the cable, but the ref just shrugged, lmao
Your manager said in his post-match interview that he did not see this happen. The one who claimed it was Nyland who was looking for an excuse for fucking up his pass.
What was the ref supposed to do? There's no clear footage of it and both the ball and skycam didn't detect it.
If it had hit one of the wires the ball's sensor would have flagged it and you'd see the impact on the skycam, it would have made it shake. It literally did not impact the cable. It never made contact, Nyland just fucked up his pass.
>>
>>156703373
They literally got a yellow card for arguing.
>>
>>156703496
>is that le heckin official fifa "heartbeat of the ball"?
>>
Honestly not loving all these Swedes glazing our NT, it feels unnatural.
>>
>>156703496
What am I supposed to see here
>>
>>156703409
honestly i could hardly blame the ref on the pitch for this decision, it would be hard to witness unless you look at the ball flying in the air (which he obviously didn't do), and the ""sensor"" didn't work either, so what could he do?
>>
>>156703583
isn't zlatan borderline albanian?
>>
>>156703576
Wasnt that after the english goalie crashed into an english defender and left the goal open, then the ref blew the whistle so norway couldnt score?
>>
did zlatan actually say this or is this another one of those "twitter screencap of AI quote" threads
>>

>>
>>156703593
No, he's bosnian iirc, but I'm not just talking about him.
>>
>>156703590
The accelerometer graph in the bottom left doesn't show the ball hitting anything, at least not in a way that slows it down or deflects it.
>>
Redditway fans are worse than actual 3rd worlders with the crying
>le invisible wire bro
>>
This one "swede" has been spamming about this all day now
>>
>>156703564
You would also have footage from the skycam itself bobbling around after being shaken.
>>
the problem is even if it didn't impact (it didn't) what was the ref supposed to do?
there is no clear footage of an impact and the ball and spidercam did not detect an impact

what ref is going to disallow a goal because the goalie claims he hit the wire and that's why the pass was shit? I wish people would use their brains, the ref literally had no basis he could have used to disallow the goal other than "nyland said so" which would have been an outrage

It's not going to detect an impact with the cable that didn't happen. The spidercam also shows no indication of its cables being impacted.

Look at Anderson's run before he receives it:

From 0:04 seconds he is clearly running horizontally, because that is the trajectory of the ball. Then at 0:12 he suddenly switches it, a complete change in direction and is running vertically towards us.

>>156704139
that's just circumstantial evidence though, that's not proof. I submitted a similar argument for the portugal-croatia thing, that if the trajectory of the ball didn't change upwards slightly why then did the Portuguese defender only skim the ball when he would have been trying to head it away. But no one cared about that because everyone just wants to cry rig. It's entirely possible that he misjudged it of course, just like it's entirely possible that Anderson misjudged this initially. We don't know, the only "proof" is FIFAs sensor, which obviously could easily be tampered.
>>
>>156703719
The 3d graph is extremely unreliable with regard to ball movement. Go watch other 3d videos where the ball doesn't make contact with anything and you'll see that the ball moves in weird wasy
>>
>>156703316
I'm assuming Zlatan also thinks that Egypt's goal was rightfully overturned then?
>>
>>156703590
The ball losing its ballisting trajectory and falling down approximately as it flies over the row of flags on its way down, the players adjusting their play in anticipation, and FIFA's scientific chart not showing any deceleration which turns what would have been a ref mistake into a rig, or a violation of Newton's first law of motion, or a malfunction of the equipment. In any case the explanation is insufficient.

Yeah, and Trump had no influence over FIFA's decision to let one US player play a game he was banned for and FIFA never received money from Qatar and Saudi Arabia to let them play their deciding World Cup qualifiers on home ground instead of what should've been played on neutral ground.

FIFA is gud bois, they never did anything wrong
>>

>literally me
>in the background
>>
>>156703373
it didn't screw them over at all.

it came from their own goalkeeper's goalkick and landed on the halfway line. it's not the cable's fault no Norwegian stopped the ball being passed and dribbled half way down the entire length of the football pitch, nor is it the cable's fault they conceded the winner 50 minutes later.
>>
>>156703316
I've noticed they change the balls all the times. Some of them must be remote controlled balls. You can't tell because players are trained to intentionally throw them outside of the football field ready to be intercepted by FIFA officials dressed as civilians. That's why you notice weird movements that defy physics in the soccer balls. Someone must have clicked the button to make ball change its trajectory mid air unintentionally, all people in the stadium watched it but all footage was properly destroyed
>>
The way redditors talk about the spyder cam you'd think it hit the cable and game pummeling straight down. lmao

But if you watch the footage you see the ball maintains momentum and trajectory.

Would a soccer player seriously lie about something? They guys flop all time but the cam thing is totally real you guys!

It's clear that the Norwegian goalie did a shit kick and got embarrassed so invented some bullshit to try and get England's goal disqualified

>the sad truth about futbol is that if you dont ...

Physically menace the ref with implied kneecapping and overt match rigging accusations with references to specific matches in the past, the soft foul differential is statistically too much to surmount. Eventually there will be ugly retaliation, be it the favored team and/or their stars, or physically incapacitating the ref on the field to try their luck with a cowed replacement and 10 men.
>>
>>156703564
The solution is collective striking— walk off the field until it's reviewed. You need two teams to tango. No spectacle, no ad bucks. Alternatively, a goon enforcer from the training staff goes and cleats the field ref's ankle such that his compromised ass is removed on a stretcher, then we will have gone from dive grass to weed hockey.
>>
>>156703712
You high pressed menacingly and England didnt; Tuchel even said England played mediocre. The team stats bear it out. The VAR -1 handicap was decisive, and theatrically weak English centerbacks.
>>
>>156709084
They literally did which is why they didn't disallow the goal. The ball's sensor detected no impact and neither did the spydercam. It literally didn't happen. They've shown the footage and the sensor data.
So instead the narrative became that FIFA are lying. Rather than the simple answer that something there is no footage of happening, and no data of happening, didn't happen.

Social media is ruining footie. All this seething and whining and complaining by casuals because X nation lost is unbecoming. The sport has always been dominated by a few nations, that's the way it is, regardless of any controversies, it's hard for new nations to break through.

You don't see this shit in rugby where also a few nations dominate, we play Australia and New Zealand only to get beaten year after year but nobody complains. People just appreciate the sport and the players.

I'm sure other World Cups before social media also had plenty of controvery and seething but at least you could tune it out and ignore it.
