There was a kid at local races that was so quick, he was like a man. He raced for the wiggins team for a season or two then vanished without a trace. He'd come to the races, put in an attack and almost lap everyone. Then he'd sit up and wait. pogacar should try that. He's got a big lead and he can make things interesting. Or start the climb 3 minutes behind for a nail biting finish.

After 10 minutes into a rider it mostly stops hurting. And maybe experiment with a different saddle if prostate hurts because it shouldn't. The more challenging part is probably bike handling and not getting dropped in the technical bits. If you look at the Strava of pros you'll see that on sprint days they're at like 180 - 250 W average for the day. If you've got a 2kW sprint as long as you get to the end of the stage and to the correct position you're sprinting for a win.

I've been riding my bike in the Ardennes and it's just WWIi memorials everywhere. When I'm back home in West flanders it's WWi memorials and mass graves anywhere you look. I don't think there's a country that has seen more war in history than Belgium
