IN THE NEWS:

SEC boss Greg Sansky says "fuck it we ball" when asked about future of NCAA, implying breakaway is on the table for P2 as the governing body continues to show weakness
B1G continues push for 24-team playoff, Notre Dame most impacted
Arch Manning suffers lowest-ever drop in NIL valuation, surprising no one
Michigan AD to step down, proving himself correct when he said he wasn't worried about his job security. Sherrone Moore still not in jail.
Deion Sanders reports he is "healthy" and ready to take on Georgia Tech. No word on how many portable toilets will be placed on the sideline.
Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy reported to be healthy and ready to play following suffering a gunshot wound. No word on how much money he owed or what he stole or whether or not he gave it back after being shot.

REAL football! Yeah!

You missed a lot /sp/
The biggest news right now is this Congress bill might actually pass and it will greatly impact the sport
Realignment wise, the current proposition is that conferences are capped to 19 teams and you must be independent for 5 years before moving from P4 to another P4 (in effectiveness keeping the conferences as is as that is a death sentence for most schools and the other conferences will not wait that long)
For B1G, that 19th team is obvious and they can join anytime. For SEC, that would mean a potential final push for 2/3 schools just before it goes into effect and be finished. If any B12/ACC teams would swap it would be then too.

They should force UCLA, Berkley, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and ASU back to the Pac-12 cause they're state institutions, but the GOP controls the House and even Arizona is mostly Democrats so they'll do nothing

Honestly, all of the conferences need to be nuked.

I'm sick of half of the games on TV being non-competitive.

Crap like OSU vs. Rutgers / UCLA / Minnesota / etc. no longer needs to be played, let alone broadcasted on national television.
