apparently ktm's engine issues come from a bad batch of valves from a supplier, it's similar to yamaha's problem in 2020 except the valves don't break completely so no big smoke show, in ktm's case they get stuck, the cilinder loses compression and the engine dies
The disparity in Ford and Chevy teams this year has been wild. Chase has been mostly consistent, but either Larson or Byron will just be garbage while the other is fast and Bowman sucks. Some weeks Ross will be the class of the Trackhouse cars by a mile, but other weeks he's literally a p28 car in speed while SVG has top 5 speed. Excluding last week, it's mostly been Penske sucking while Blaney is consistent, and the RFK cars have been all over the board with speed in various cars each week. The only outlier is Spire, which I guess isn't surprising since they stole all of JGR's setups. Funniest part is when we go somewhere where Spire doesn't have a stolen setup and it's obvious as hell.
I am mildly annoyed that all NASCAR Canada retrospective posts act as if the series just poofed into existence in 2007 and they didn't buy CASCAR and there was definitely never a CASCAR West Series that raced the same cars on the same tracks before that.
