An American businessman is on vacation and sees a Mexican fisherman come into port with just a few big fish. With the profits from the bigger boat, buy several boats, eventually a whole fleet. Instead of selling to a middleman, you’d sell directly to the cannery, eventually opening your own cannery. You’d control the product, processing, and distribution.The fisherman asks, but senor, how long will this all take? Fifteen, twenty years, the American says. Then what? Then, my friend, that’s when it gets interesting, the American says. When the time is right, you’d announce an I P O and sell your company stock to the public, and become very rich, you’d make millions.Millions, senor? Then what?
