Mancini is, and always will be, a piece of shit opportunist, incapable of apologising or taking responsibility for his own mistakes. He is the perfect candidate to lead a national team of cowards and wimps that has now become incapable of rewarding merit, a team mired in utter technical mediocrity that he himself helped to kick-start back in the day.
It was already clear back in March-April 2006 that he was a piece of shit, when he was taunting the opponents who would later be embroiled in the Calciopoli farce because the owner of the team he was managing had already tipped him off about the industrial espionage being carried out against the top teams in the Serie A table. If Italian football is currently going through a period of serious difficulty, it is also partly down to Mancini, who rushed to testify as a despicable snitch at the court in Naples in the years that followed, in order to destroy the rivals who had repeatedly beaten him on the pitch.
