Considering that he only returned to the national team because Nagelsmann begged him to, and Nagelsmann is gone now (plus injured keepers returning and a new generation basically standing ready), there's no way he plays another game for the German squad.
Which leaves Bayern - who have to start thinking long-term, most likely getting Urbig established. I could see them phasing out Neuer and phasing in Urbig over a full season. But Neuer simply retiring is also an option, for him at least, if he's not in the mood for such games.
I don't see him going to some third-world league for the quick buck like Messi or Ronaldo did.
