Most overrated season oat.
Muh 91 goals, nice hattricks against Elche and ghosting in the CL and going trophyless. Let Madrid have one of the most historic seasons ever.

People don't realize that how many goals a single individual has is completely meaningless. It's a team sport ffs. Ronaldo has the most international goals in history, yet no world cup and only a single euro. Mbappe has the most goals in the world cup, and in the single one he actually won he had only 4 goals. And then his standing got worse the more goals he scored (8 in 2022 when he reached the final but didn't win and 10 in 2026 when france was 4th). Messi's 91 goals is great, prob no other player in history will manage to top the amount of chances he created and assisted coupled with the amount of goals he scored that year. But in the end it was completely worthless. Stat padding is the cancer of the sport.
