Who was a better NBA commissioner?
Do they only hire Jews?
>>157180002It's America so of course
>>157180002They're hired collectively by the cabal of team owners to represent the league, so, yeah, obviously
>>157179982Business wise I think the new one did better. Product wise the old one did better.I'm old though zoomers might actually like the new NBA
>>157180002Before him it was honest Irish man who was in charge during the early years of Magic vs Bird. The jews simply took that script and ran with it.
>>157179982Stern and I say that as a Lakers fan. I hope he's burning in hell though
>>157180427His feud was iverson was kino and Silver can't/wont rein in the bucks like he did
>>157180002Yeah
>>157179982Stern would block trades arbitrarily
>>157179982Stern might be the GOAT commissioner for what his job actually entailed - making owners money and increasing interest in his sport. But from a fan/competitive standpoint he might be the WOAT, since you can toss out like 95% of the seasons under him with how blatantly rigged everything was
the irish guy before stern. O'brien or something
>>157179982genuinely can't understand how this nosferatu looking motherfucker can be the NBA commissioner it's not like he's behind a desk in a dark room, he's on camera all the timeand hes even weirder love than in photos
>>157180427>Stern and I say that as a Lakers fan. Is that supposed to be good or badYou guys paint him out to be the biggest villain because muh Chris Paul but don't thank him for 02, 09, 2010 rigged championships
>>157180827Sucks because now it's just less blatant because they completely nuked defense unless you're just as athletic as someone who's 6 inches shorter than you. I think taking away defense is just optimizing a game for the gambling industry because defense makes things too unpredictable. You can have a trash ass NBA league where guys play no defense, spam shots, and if they actually did tell a guy to miss a few shots, that guy can control what he's shooting, VS if you allowed a Bruce Bowen or Raja Bell to play 2006 style defense and the offensive player is bricking shots whether he wants to or not
>>157179982Stern had the biggest boner for Jordan
>>157179982Stern undeniably grew the game more but Silver is so good at getting money that it's comical. Only the owners and players should care about the latter though
