People are retarded. Spain walked them the last two times they played and are clearly a nightmare matchup for them because they dominate the midfield but smoothbrains this year were like "wow the french front three looks really good this year so I'm sure that will magically overcome their deficits in midfield which have been repeatedly demonstrated".

If you have above 75IQ and watch football more than once every four years you knew this was Spain's year.

It's just a case of stupid people ignoring the data and judging teams on their FUT cards or whatever.
Spain have not lost a competitive match for two years, and beat France comfortably in Euro 2024. They were the clear favourites, especially considering France had a plodder like Rabiot in midfield.
