It was The Times who broke this story - Infantino x Kushner/Trump takeover. It was the BBC (and esp. Panorama journos) who ran and broke most of the historical FIFA corruption stories.
tldr, FIFA fucking HATES the UK, has done for a while. And I doubt that has changed any for the better over the last week or so..
