Now that the dust has settled I think this might have been the worst world cup ever
source?
>>157211721No, the worst was 2022 where FIFA themselves gave Argentina a world cup just to satisfy "the narrative"
>>157211721Hmm, nah, I wouldn't say so. From the organizational perspective? Surely. Three hosts = garbage, immediate FIFA politics = garbage, new format = garbageBut the atmosphere was quite fine, stadiums were neat for the most part (MetLife being meh, unfortunately), games were decent at leastCould have been much worse
>>157211721It was. We knew it was going to be beforehand, and it was confirmed during. It was probably even worse than we thought it was going to be. Everything that is wrong with football, and the world
>>157211749And even the organizational stuff is arguably better than fucking Qatar hosting in 2022. You can at least propose that these three hosts of 2026 have a right to host. It just shouldn't have been all three
south africa was pretty bad
It was mostly okk but the blatant rigging in the final undermined its legacy
>>1572117212022 was only 4 years ago
>>157211752The stadiums and crowds were pretty decent and there was a few good games. Overall it left a nasty taste and that's down to Infantino.
>>157211721It definitely was the worst world cup in the history of football.Retarded subhuman amerimutts ruin everything that they touch. Fucking disgusting golems should never be allowed to host another world cup, ever again.
the last good WC was 2006, 2010 and 2014 were passable, anything 2018 onwards has been dogshit nufooty slop (giga bus parking in low blocks, pacey ngubu counters, VAR sinson bullshit, goals rely more on defenders making mistakes rather than strikers having any skills, disappearance of creativity/dribbling skills in favor of speed and physicality, etc)ad breaks and riggi stuff are just the stench of the rotting corpse getting too heavy to bear
dunno man ive never watched more than 5 games during a wc but i'd say it was pretty alright
>>157211765Agreed. I liked the games of 2022 and the stadiums but qatar as a host was grim as fuck
>>157211721I liked the group stage
>>157211721I knew it was a brit flag before entering the thread
>>157213423Same
>>157211721Worst I've ever seen was Qatar for many reasons.I didn't like the hydration breaks in this one, but other than that it was fine.
