cricket probably, already the second biggest sport without any engagement from non-british colonies. Plus cricket is very inclusive unlike basketball or football where genes matter a lot

It's the same reason why Hinduism is the world's third biggest religion despite not having the same outreach as Christianity and Islam. Much like baseball, cricket is deemed too boring by most people and will never have any significance outside the countries that already like the game.
