I’m here to say that European Cups (now known as Champions Leagues) from the period 1955-1997 were only open for the respective league champions from each nation, any wins post ‘97-98 season should not be weighted as heavily because they were easier to qualify for and since 1991 easier to win with the group stage format. Exception would be if the club won their league to qualify for the CL, and then in the CL won the cup without losing a match.This also means that UEFA cups need to be weighted differently as they became easier to qualify for and therefore win

When I was a kid the biggest teams in football were Milan, Juve, Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern and Man United. Nowadays new gen football fans see them on the same level as a Spurs or Dortmund, it's a shame.
