The first week at sea it's kinda fun but after that it's just another bullshit job. You get to do none of the good stuff because you are there to serve others. The reason you need English to land a a ship job is because many people over there just don't even speak Spanish but they will speak some English. 6 hours of sleep everyday the rest is just work. They didn't even let us listen to the radio while working because you are so busy the music actually makes you work slower. The bad part is when you get sick and just can't go home because you are gonna be there for the full two weeks. It's overall bad for you but literally every other job is too
