Buyerns sporting director just said they know what the issue is and that musiala will adress it himself
I guess since he was cleared to play both times its nothing physical but personal/psychological - he did have a car accident a while ago, which can lead to vertigo

Hes sufferimg from petit mal, or absence seizures.
A very mild form of epilepsy where you lose consciousness for 5 seconds but do not cramp or feel spasms, and also one of forms of epilepsy that are cureable with medicine, will still take him months tho. He must have somehow gotten it after the world cup.
>>
>>157401154
Europeans can't handle HFCS
>>
>>157401086
He currently suffers from those absences daily. The doctors say it is neurological and they are monitoring it. Part of that is playing regularly and he made that decision intentionally. He wants his fans not to be scared and everyone to calm down.

musieć means must / have to
musiała is the past tense of it, female form interestingly enough
she had to - ona musiała
theres a famous polish actor called maciej musiał, same word, just the masculine version
i guess it was a woman who emigrated poland so the feminine version stuck in his family somehow. the same way people born abroad always have their name ending in -ski, even though in poland if youre a woman it changes to -ska

hans-karl musikhaller is a pure german albeit a bit swarty. they just changed the writing of the name to get to a higher player value.
>>
>>157401693
Depends on the type of epilepsy. Some are severe, where you cramp up and endure painful cramps while not being conscious for minutes.
Absence seizures are pretty mild and can be treatable with medicine but it can take him months with that sort of treatment. He seemed unconscious for a few seconds and was able to jog off the pitch himself, I guess the most extreme route would be missing half a year of football while he gets used to the medicine up to the point where he no longer has these epileptic episodes.

from his IG

First things first – I'm doing well!
I'm especially grateful for your messages and support!
I understand that many of you are worried. I'd like to alleviate those concerns today and explain something:
I've been diagnosed with temporary, brief, but easily treatable absence seizures, which are due to a neurological dysfunction.
These can lead to the recent episodes, like the one against Leipzig or now in Heidenheim.
I know they seem scary at first glance – but for me, they're currently just part of my everyday life. I'm receiving excellent medical treatment and am very optimistic. FC Bayern and my family and friends are always by my side and supporting me on this journey.
Importantly, there are no further health risks. In close consultation and regular communication with the experts, it was my personal wish to face this challenge and, with the clearance from the neurologists, to continue focusing on what helps me most in my recovery: simply living my daily life and pursuing my passion for playing football. I've taken responsibility for that. Overall, I have a very good feeling and I'm on the right track.
What helps me most on this path is continuing to chase victories and titles with my team and your amazing support.
I hope you can understand me better now. At the same time, I ask for your understanding that I would like to keep this matter within my closest circle of confidants, the club, and the experts.

>>

I honestly dont know. From the look of it he developed this issue very recently, my guess is they used the last two friendlies to discover potential triggers which is needed to know the correct medication.

>>
>>157407811
They are still finding out the right medication dosage is my guess, from his post it sounds like its adult onset epilepsy, i.e. something that was triggered very recently. He had no absense episodes during the latter half of the season or the world cup.
>>
>>157407831
Why are he and they acting like he's obligated to keep playing while they figure out treatment?
>>
>>157407930
I dont think they feel obligated. If he had said he wasnt feeling well or if the doctors advised against it he wouldnt have played. I mean, he will have these episodes during the day regardless of what he does while they work on medication usage.

Same thing happened to me around his age. I'm glad I'm not special, same time it's scary as hell. I had no history of seizures, then one day in my early 20s I wake up and my tongue is all fucked up and my legs feel like I ran a marathon and my girlfriend is like "you had a seizure" then a few months later I'm at work and I just think "I'm feeling tired" and a few minutes later I have my boss staring over me, EMTs coming towards me and my boss is like "This is the 5th time I've told you you had a seizure"
Scary shit.

despite saying absences, neuros and doctors online are saying it's actually a partial/focal seizure due to hand movements. absent seizures don't have posturing and are typically found in children that they grow out of, extremely rare in adults. it looks kinda like someone dozing off eyes open then jolting awake again.
what he has may be lifelong
