>only a single major trophy in 119 years
This is sad. At least in American leagues, teams can become good enough over a few seasons to actually have a realistic shot at winning a title if they make good decisions. Smaller clubs elsewhere almost never have a shot and when they do, it's an novelty. Here in the US, smaller markets are constantly rotating in and out of being great.

I like socialism in general. It should be applied everywhere.

America is more important than your country though. Its on you to understand us.

I do. I pay taxes. Unfortunately my wealth goes to the military industrial complex and minorities that choose to not work instead of anything useful.

Imagine rooting for a dogshit team your entire life knowing that you'll never have a chance at winning anything.

>>157406445
the only sort of socialist thing is cities (who democratically vote to do so...) helping to fund new stadiums. otherwise
>private company with 32 private owners who employ private citizens and their revenue is genarted by private citizens spending their money in a free market economy
not that collectivist to me, pal. the fact that a top qb makes 50x what a 4th stringer does tells you eveeytbing

the fa cup is a major trophy in england, they also won the conference league which is lower tier but still decent for smaller sides
pretty good for them to be honest, a better example would be everton

The American franchise systems aren’t socialist, they’re monopolistic cartels

The FA Cup is the reason all knock-out tournaments exist.

they JUST won the FA Cup, Community Shiled and UEFA conference league

you always hear like americans believe that mediocrity shouldn't be awarded, but once a ball is involved they suddenly flip
if I didn't know anything about sports I would expect americans cherish the promotion/relegation and us here in europe looking down on it, how comes it is the other way around
