>What is UTMB Mont-Blanc?
UTMB Mont-Blanc is the season-ending championship event of the UTMB World Series, one of the most prestigious trail-running series for ultra-distance races—races longer than the marathon distance. The three World Series Finals take place around the Mont Blanc massif and all finish in Chamonix.

Elite runners compete throughout the year in UTMB World Series Events and Majors around the world. Their performances help them qualify for the Finals in the relevant distance category: short-ultra, mid-distance ultra, or long-ultra. Men's and women's championship races happen simultaneously.

Other events also take place during UTMB Mont-Blanc week, including the 20K, the 145 km TDS, or the team-based PTL, an approximately 300 km mountain endurance event. But these are not World Series Finals like the OCC, CCC, and UTMB and are not streamed live, for the most part.
