I think it 100% exemplified how "wanting it more" is more than a throwaway meme in sport.With international football, if you are a passionate nationalist you will inevitably "want it more". Argentinians are more desperate to win for Argentina, especially against England, than English players are, especially against Argentina. I have no clue if there are any Argentinians in the EFL, but I guarantee they'd play like Champions League winners if they were selected to play for Argentina against England.
