Didn’t Hull do really well in their first few Premier League matches under Phil Brown as well?

Won 6, drew 2 and lost 1 of our first nine (including wins at Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle).

We only won 2 of the next 29 though and ended up surviving on the final day of the season. The next season was even worse, with major financial problems and Ian Dowie (!) having a spell in charge. We only won six games that year too, which meant that from the end of October 2008 to May 2010, we only won 8 out of 67 league games.
