Dropping the “nice guys” out that clearly have an appeal to the casual and “old school” leaves a bad taste and turns off fans. Let Daly drive one season, they upgrade, he has the young guys who know his name now or in years, so when he calls races etc he has more credibility. Indycar came before Daly and will be there after Daly so your fascination of him of all people getting an opportunity is silly when Mick Schumacher only got an opportunity on his name. Wild cards like Robb and Siegel whether you like them or not have their place in the field and keep things interesting, so what they paid, I put that on the teams for not attracting sponsors willing to back drivers, and the series pricing people in/out purposefully
