Who the fuck roots for them? Whats their fanbase like?
I really doubt the ultra-rich care much about football, do they have any actual local fans?
I dont think there are many people who grew on the mean-streets of Monaco with dreams of becoming a footballer one day who became hardcore AS Monaco ultras...

they average about 8000 spectators per match
nobody cares about them

Fan clubs from cities other than Monaco

burgers and mexicans were literally obsessing over Monaco last week

It has the lowest home attendence in the league but has one of the best away support, it's weird. A lot of people love this clube across the country, mostly because they've been pretty consistently good for a long time so if you start watching the league, there's a good chance it's at a point when Monaco is playing well and you'll start rooting for them because you like the way they play at that point.
>>
>>157664248
their home town has like 40k people and only about 10k of them are genuine Monegasques who have a reason to care about them.
i suspect any Monaco ultras are hired by the Russian owner

Nepalese people

I rooted for them as a kid, can't explain why. Never went to a game as I lived 6 hours away.

I like em

lmao that's more than 90%of teams in our first two divisions
>>
>>157664248
They've always had interesting players (and coaches)
>>
Well its not as bad as you think it is considering their stadiums seats is 16k, an an average of 9k people come to their matched from Monaco to the outskirts villages and towns like Figueria or Turbie..
Felipe Luis their coach is arguably the most underrated young manager His Flamengo team was the most beautiful brand of football I've seen to date. I hope he incoporates it more with Monaco but they should be content rn.

perks of paying very few taxes

They're a maverick team. Rich, based in a microstate for whom they are essentially the international representative, and historically caring more about good football and flair players than anything else. I've always had a soft spot for them, going right back to when I saw this scoreline on Teletext back in 2003

Do you also think that rich people only read Wall Street Journal on their yacht while doing cocaine with hookers?
>>
>>157664248
>Who the fuck roots for them?
apparently the couple thousand fans they have are pretty enthusiastic
other then them, the same kind of people who would root for Lyon or Porto, who have opinions about Scottish football and a favorite Turkish club
Monaco is rich, but they have history, which makes them a proper club

Cool stadium in PES3. Simple as

Monaco /lifelong/ here, started supporting them as a kid around 2000 (when they became champions). I've never seen them in Monaco but I did see them away a couple of times. It's mostly the club for people who have no clubs in their city.
For example, I would find it hard to support Lyon or Marseille since I'm not from there, but Monaco is not really France and always had a lot of international players, so it's okay. I think they have less regional anchor than the other French clubs.

even Monte Carlo has cops, mechanics, teachers, restaurant workers, hotel staff...

Do they have jannies?

grim

>Never went to a game as I lived 6 hours away.
I heard that's basically the average Monaco fan tho. Like they dont even live in that tax haven Epstein enclave in the first place.

It's definitely weird because if you're into soccer you definitely like Monaco. They've been one of the best teams at producing young star talent over the ten years
>>
>>157679308
It's not. The average Monaco fan is a guy who lives close to the city. It's people from Menton, form Nice and so on who are too hipster to follow their own city team..

>>157679426
Like who?
Mbappé is a Clairefontaine fag.
The only one is Akliouche and he's nothing spectacular.
>>
>>157668008
Who travel there daily from France because lmao at hotel staff living in Monte Carlo.

Who are all rich and doing it for the love of the game. The poorest man in Monaco has three mansions, my grandpa used to say
