Reminder that if Raya hadn't saved the penalty, the match would most likely have ended 1-1. With City's gifted offside goal, this matchday would have ended with a 4-point swing in favor of them. We can only rely on ourselves to win the title again, Mikel and the boys can use this week's example as extra motivation.

In an ideal world City should have points deducted this very season.
4 games in and PGMOL have already apologised to a bunch of teams. Our chances at winning this league will eventually come down to luck from VAR like city today.
>>157730190>the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) changed its name to Professional Game Referees (Pro Ref)you know they have no clue what they doing when they start changing names and rebranding and shit
>>157729899pusc
>>157728229Why do Arsenal fans spend 70% of their time crying about the referees?
>>157730577because the refereeing lately has been questionable at best. not in out games alone, in general.
>>157729899I know more than you
Still waiting for our apology from pgmol for the wrongly rewarded penalty against Konsa and the wrong bookings for Gabriel and Havertz
Who are the story winners and losers from the Sunderland game?
>>157731748Winners: the guy behind the Bruno G transferLosers: Aaron Ramsdale
>>157732093>RamsdaleKek not even on the bench for Southampton's last game
2 years since this happened and I still think about this. What was the Wolves player thinking trying to fist Jesus's bum mid match
Do you still have hope that Eze will turn it around and reach his potential?Honestly might be among the most disappointing transfers for me if nothing changes
>>157733600Eze is a high-risk, high-reward type of player, Arteta values low risk and stability. Eze needs to have a good year or he's going to get the Martinelli treatment.
>>157733600yeah why not? he scored some decent goals, won us a bunch of games, assisted a bunch etc. sure not your 29180 G/A 10 or forward or whatever youd like to call it but surely nowhere near the most disappointing transfers...
>>157733600I like his personality. But he's another frustrating player. All the black english players are immensely frustrating. They seem to lack confidence which is probably other blacks most important trait. The arrogance to just do something instead of over think it. That's why we have crap black penalty takers. It's like they absorb part our genes from the air. Even Konsa seems like a bit of a headcase when you compare him to the likes of Saliba.
>>157733600Play him as an 8. Thats it.
Anyone play football manager? Just pulled off a heist against liverpoo. Studied their tactics for hours, woke up at 1pm and only played the game at midnight. They smashed me 7-2 in the opening game. We beat them in consecutive fixtures with my tactical gremlin 442 diamond to strangle their midfield and force them into Saliba in RB. Then the pacey merchant up front mugged them twice on counters after we missed a penalty. Football manager is probably the most emotive game I've played. Turns you into a bitter villain. No wonder Mourinho acts how he does. Us vs the world mentality is probably the meta mentality for football managers. Maybe that's what Arteta does with the moaning about refs but then he's actually got a point.
>>157737384Played one of the old football managers years back. Won the treble 3 times in a row with welbeck as my starting striker.
Wow united are bad, almost feel sorry for their fans
>Mikel Arteta subsequently cut a study in righteous indignation. Going over the top, he said he felt “sad” for football and talked about wanting to “protect the game”... Sunderland, though, had played well and deserved more credit from a less than magnanimous Arteta.God, I don't know why the media reporting on Arsenal is so shit. Arteta is clearly being "less than magnanimous" about the refs, not Sunderland. In the same press conference he complimented "how good Sunderland were", FFS. Shows how they love to foster a narrative.
