Rugby has a lot of downtime too, they just don't cut to commercial every time they have to do a line out or fuck up making a scrum for 45 seconds. There's a lot of standing around.

Anyway, I don't love this idea. While there is a good amount of rugby in the country, no one is clamoring for more. Many high schools and colleges have teams, and we even have a pro league that has arguably better broadcasts than most leagues. The northeast US would be the best part of the country to host it though. Probably in the spring or early summer when nothing is going on. I will watch it when its on though. We do get some Six Nations games on regular mainstream TV, I watched a few this year.
