this would probably get more traction on >>>/fit/
>>157891855Not really, last 2 years it did better here.Friday pre-judging should have started but looks like the streaming site dieded.
>>157891855/fit/ is dead
Well maybe not much interest here after all. 212 and Classic pre-judging finished, Keone Pearson is winning while Classic could go to anyone. Pics are up on npcnewsonline.com, stream should be available for playback once it finishes, or you can look up someone restreaming it on youtube.

friday finals about to start
Finally managed to catch up.212 went as expected.
NIALL DARWEN WINS CLASSIC PHYSIQUE!Good decision, I had him first too, had everything, size, condition, best shape.Mike Sommerfeld 2nd, I don't get what the judges see in him, he doesn't even have the size advantage now that he can't cheat his weight cap, he wasn't hard enough, and he doesn't even have the shape, wide waist and stupid proportions. Dino 3rd, not at his best.Wesley Vissers 4th, that's as low as the judges could possibly place him. Biggest, most conditioned, most detail. I can see Darwen beating him on shape, but it's bullshit when they say his waist is wide and his structure is not good, it's not like he's Nick Walker.

Bruh
NICK WALKER CAN WIN!Walker brought his all time best, had his gut in check all throughout, best abs, most chiseled and densest physique. His quads are still small and leg veins are ugly, so that could still hold him back.
Samson Dauda brought what we expected, big and watery. He's not the best at anything but might win if the judges go for balance, and he gets sharper.
Andrew Jacked brought the oily look, still not thick enough in some poses, has a bit of a gut too. Once again not his year, set for 4th, hopefully next time he goes for a cleaner look.
>>157909374Nial had the most impressive progress updates so I'm glad he won.
Derek Lunsford looks the usual, maybe more conditioned than last year, still no muscle fibers visible in his upper body.
Michal Krizanek and Tonio Burton round up the top 6 as somewhat expected. Krizo is again a bit flat, lack of abs and lats hurt him too, so 5th place will likely go to gangsta Tonio.
>>157909487Why would you put that much shit in your shoulder before the big show?Him and his wife rely way too much on his genetics instead of making smart decisions
Martin Fitzwater is a surprise, he's small and off, will be outside of the top 10. Regan Grimes looks good for 7th.
Brandon Curry was compared for 7-8th, I think that's a bit generous, he's way too watery.
Behrouz Tabani is probably at his best but still not big enough. Jordan "second coming of Steve Kuclo" Hutchinson completes the top 10 with James Hollingshead just outside.
Mo Foda, Sas Heirati and Edward Kargbo seem to be the last 3 inside the top 15. Don't know what the judges see in Foda, I thought Kargbo could be a surprise if he's in good shape but he isn't really special. Quint Beastwood looks the same as always but I think that should have been still enough, he's someone the judges don't like. Leandro Peres also brought good form, his lower legs look bad but he did what he could. William Bonac looks crippled, get him off the stage already.
This is what remains of the ~160 kg that Sergey Danilov was in the off season. Damian Kuffel and Andrea Presti also ran.
having a massive wank to these
And the person the judges hate the most, Patrick Moore, absolutely screwed. Should probably somewhere in the top end of the second callout. Don't tell me he's worse than Martin Fitzwater.
>>157909699Have to pin somewhere I guess. Not the worst offender at this. Even CBum had pointy shoulders at times.>>157909955Glad I could help.Pics are screenshots from the stream, now that it actually worked it was quite good quality, better than the official pictures. They finally got the background and lighting right. Only thing that was bad is they did these stupid closeups panning the camera during poses so you couldn't see the whole callout at once.
>>157910107>Have to pin somewhere I guess. Not the worst offender at this. Even CBum had pointy shoulders at times.Fair enough. It's just that it's a basic rule in bodybuilding. You already have tons of gear in your muscles, more than any other time of the year, and the time for stretching the muscle bellies is over. Don't do any big injections. Just use orals to promote some hardness.
>>157910262Not sure how much the judges care about that nowadays. I would rather they crack down on the blatant site enhancements. But right the Daudas don't really seem to know how to do a proper prep, also he looks so amateurish in his training videos. Good luck for him anway, Lumpsford must be beaten.
NICK WALKER DOES IT!I don't think anyone thought he still has a chance, his results have been getting worse and it always looked like the judges are looking for a different look.
Samson Dauda improved for the finals but it wasn't enough to win it all.
Krizo needs to learn how to pose and better abs.
Behrouz got much sharper, Curry maybe a bit better. Fitzwater still not good enough.
Patrick Moore never given a chance.
Take it to /hm/ magyaranon
SCORECARDSVery close call, almost doesn't add up but outlier scores get dropped so makes sense. Seems like judges are a bit too much influenced by how the head judge moves the callouts.I don't see how Curry was 8th in pre-judging then dropped to 10th in finals when he was in better condition. Leandro Peres looked better in pre-judging, Kargbo looked better in finals but the scores are the other way around. Foda and Heirati looked the same yet have swings. No one dared putting Fitzwater outside the top 12, even that placing was a gift. Patrick Moore was robbed, I think he looked better than Curry.
>>157926146Yeah, /fit/ already felt too gay for me. Didn't really work out this year here.
>>157909487Niiiiiickkk
>>157909957Explain to a layman how Samson is outclassing Patrick here from a judges point of view. What I see is Samson has better leg definition but worse in the abs and smaller pecs. He's taller but has less taper. I'd rank them close to one another.
