Revenue for the prem in general has exploded (2billion in 09 to 6.8billion in 25). There is all this money flowing into Man U competition. Owning a club was always a niche pet project for madlads but now its seen as a smart global business venture with proven success. United used to have an edge due to their massive fans that brought in additional revenue but now every team has that much revenue and it leveled the competiton
