The decade long experiment is long since over. He gets any sort of pressure at all and fucking crumbles. Get this guy out of the league

Amazing to me how this dude got 10 years as a starter

Out of the league, why? Surely he'd make a great 2nd string backup to a good qb. Have the camera pan to him when the offense scores and we see Blak Mascott seethe

The problem is that he's on the Cowboys. He's a good QB that would flourish on a team that isn't badly coached and ran by an old man whose spent 30 years proving he has no idea what the fuck he's doing. Romo had the same problem desu. Good QB, just not good enough to carry a whole organization of egotistical ineptitude on his back.

The problem is the Cowboys have arguably have had a bigger case of Steelers Syndrom than the Steelers since forever.

Whens the last time the Cowboys were bad? I mean capital B BAD. Maybe the early 2000s. Theyve been painfully mediocre with short stints of looking really good, but theyve never been dogshit enough for Jones to feel pressure to hit the big red Rebuild button. Not for at least 20 years.

Ive been saying for a long time if the Cowboys want to be good they need a good couple years of being dogshit so the fan ase truly turns on ownership and forces a change. Looked whats happened to the Chiefs and Bills. They were bottomfeeders for years and now grew some generational talent. Same with the Rams and Lions in NFC.

Jerry re-signed Dak because it was a safe inoffensive choice. Its good for ratings. Its good for getting butts in seats because outside of this year, he's never been THAT bad (in the regular season anyway)

Deep down I honestly wonder if Jerry even wants to win. I think he just wants the Cowboys to make him as much money as possible. He got his three Owls, he's got one more ring than Jimmy that he can hold over him until the end of time. Maybe he doesn't actually want to put a genuine Super-Bowl-winning product out there on the field.

Did he go on a diet?
