Bernal did his career best performance just this year (Piancavallo). He has been back to his old level for quite a while, everybody else just became 5% better in the meantime. Jonas also miraculously recovered from terrible injuries. I'm sure Pog will be fine.

What is are some good foods for an amateur to eat to fill calories? I don’t like milk or shakes or any of that shit. I ride like 8-10hrs a week and feel hungry a lot but find myself just raiding the pantry for pringles, haribos, and other cookies etc, anyone got a video or some basic tips to deal with the increased calorie desire in a more productive and healthy way

recently replaced a chain on my old beater commuter, which is currently sporting a 1 year old freewheel and an unknown age crankset which I've had ridden for almost 3 years but is definitely older than that (i'm thinking 90s-2000s era). Chain clicks a lotmostly when using middle chain ring on the 3 most middle cogs of the freewheel, and upshifts very poorly on and from those middle cogs. I figure adjusting limit screws can only do so much and it's time to replace the old crankset. Can't find any useful info online that isn't from AI, but AI is telling me this triple crankset most likely uses a 113 to 118mm spindle on a BSA 33mm diameter and 68 or 73mm shell width. I didn't have time today at the community workshop to disassemble the crank, measure and reassemble, but i'm thinking i might have to get a new bottom bracket anyways, since the budget triple crank i'm looking at is a 122mm spindle length Shimano Tourney. I mean they don't really make triple cranks at 113-118mm anymore do they not?

I'm really curious how an elite cycling athlete like a pogi or fish would perform in a selfsupported bikepacking race. Rest, recovery, nutrition and hydration are so incredibly important to a road racing performance, and those are what you lose out on the most during a bikepacking race. I guess it's my version of the "cold night in Stoke" meme, but I would kill to see Remco struggle in the Idaho backcountry on four hours of sleep for the third day in a row trying to figure out how how many miles were left until the next convenience store resupply
