If you're running Linux there's a reasonable chance you already have zstd installed. If you somehow don't in Debian, try apt-get install zstdzstd -d tiles.tar.zsttar -xf tiles.tarThis gives you a directory named tiles-backgrounds that is 1.3GB and has 12042 files. Most are tiny but others are quite large. Looking at these, I suggest sorting my size and browsing with your preferred image browser such as Irfanview, Eye of Gnome, or Gwenview.

I am on Windows 10, and I usually use 7zip for everything, including exe and cab.I couldn't open this, but I found this version https://github.com/mcmilk/7-Zip-zstd/releasesWhat I did was download the 64 installer, and then used my version of 7zip to open the exe and then from the folder ran the new version of 7zip to extract the .tar file. I will then use my old version of 7zip to extract that.hope that helps and thank you OP for the inspirationa nd tools to see it expressed
