The cantrips usefulness depend on whether you can use these to learn magic. If not they're not bad but are unlikely to be better than another item given randomness. So now we're down to Wolves and Dynamite. And I reckon the former is going to be the more useful option. Like yeah, dynamite is powerful, but how often do you actually expect to need 20 high explosives in a day? Let alone 40? And are you *trained* with high explosives? Because I don't think you can just light them and throw them over-arm. Or you can, but you can't do that regularly and expect to live. If you plan to demolish castles more than once a week then sure, the dynamite is useful. But otherwise there is a bow which lets you fire a blackhole once a week which would probably also seriously fuck up a castle's walls, and is also an actual weapon.
