>>96312229>Homebrew? Like it? Love it? Or leave it?Gamemaster only. Trusting players with that shit always ends in disaster.
I gotta say, I LOVE the Grandfather's Gardeners models. They're so characterful and awesome.
>>96312229>>96312620I really don't want to be like this, but the latest mesbg models look like shit. I really want to like new models to the game but holy shit

>Get a 3d printer>Can finally print armies for Epic and Warmaster, I wanted to play for so long>In my area a ton of people play old GW games, but only 28mmI feel so sad, bros...
>>96313604Print up some armies and set up some events for people to play the games. Hell, just show up to your LFGS and plonk some armies down. If you get them interested, you can then offer to print them their own stuff.
Got my Shivver varnished.
>>96314173Will base the whole gang at once when I'm done.
>>96314173>>96314183Looking good.I'm calling this dude done. Going to be an outcast leader associated with cawdor.
>>96313335I don't agree, find them nice, but they don't really fit with the rest of the model lines nor the setting. It's jarring.
>>96314471holding your breath for a wee bit too long there buddy
>>96313604Print multiple Armies and terrain and offer some test games.
>>96313655>>96314878NTA but I love how 3D printing radically changed my hobbying from "I can't even own all the units I want for my own army" to "I can have a comprehensive set of minis for multiple factions allowing me to provide the entire complete gaming experience for any intrested parties"It's not only freed me from the high prices of physical manufacturers and their arbitrary aesthetic design choices (like feminism largely killing attractive female sculpts) but it also freed me from only playing with persons who have an interest in the same specific games I play, being able to demo games out of my own collection without investing a few grand really increases the number of people I can play games with.
Made some outcast mutants out of poxwalkers. The cowboy will make a great leader.
Does anyone have the PDF or a scan or the newest version of the matched play guide for MESBG?The books seem quite shoddily made so don't want to buy it - but can't find an up to date version available online anywhere
>>96312620Even turning anime chicks into hags. I cannot believe people who still buy GW
>New NightbringerKewl
>>96312229I'll never forgive GW for sabotaging MESBG like that. We had 20 people playing at my LGS after the Pelennor Fields starter came out and now they're all scattered to the winds. I was hoping they'd do something cool like an all new plastic Last Alliance starter with Rivendell elves led by Gil-Galad taking on Sauron. Instead we get anime models and "oops, all legendary legions!" lists.
>>96319444bit odd it's going to be in a Kill Team box but okay
>>96314183Realized I still have a box of bits from my pre-printing days so I went digging and found a bolt pistol, wolf tail and necron arm to replace the missing bits of hair and arm on Cyniss to make her whole enough to put in the gang.
>>96312620
>>96313335>I really don't want to be like thisLike what, someone who tells the truth? They do look like shit. No problem calling a turd a turd.
Do we know much about who handles the waste management of Necromunda? I'm just getting into the lore and started kicking around the idea of a gang of spooky garbage-men. Something halfway between the Sweepers from Project Moon and the Dust Men from Infamous. Is there already a house/playable faction that this falls under the purview of or am I best off reflavoring something to fit, and if so what? My first thought was heavily reflavoring the nomads but maybe there's something better?
>>96323901They dumped it outside, it's called the Ash waste for a reason. Cawdor also take care of the waste, but to what extend is not specified. Redemptionist do get their nice and shiny manufactured toys so one would assume they made a fortune from the garbage business and funnel it to the redemptionist.
>>96323931Ah damn. Cawdor is the gang I find the least interesting by far.Maybe I'll retool the concept or figure out another way to make it work...
>>96314974for games like anon was talking about (Epic and Warmaster) it completely disconnected the player from caring about publisher bullshit at all.
>>96320133>>96314471>>96314183>>96314173Nice.Painting some extra dudes for my gang
>>96319631There's also a Chaos Lord in the box, for some reason.
>>96325581It's a leader also justification to jack up the price.
>>96323901Cawdor House
>>96324025Well two solutions there would be to not play nu-cromunda cause I'm pretty sure all of the Cawdor are litter pickers fluff is new.Or just have a non-Cawdor group from either a territory not controlled by Cawdor or allied to them.
>>96312229>We want the Arcane audience
I'm going to begin to learn how to play Middle Earth, the book and the box arrive in a week, and I'll be playing Haradrim as I want to paint one or two of the elephants. What am I in for?
>>96328675It's a VERY easy game to learn. Battles are simple and easily resolved, but you'll find that most things require a 5+ to kill, 6+ if they're typically carrying a shield. So dudes can be hard to chew through, but if you put a hole in someones line, you can really exploit it. Personally, I think the last edition was better than the new edition, so I would recommend going back to it or, if you're the nostalgic type, find the big blue rule book on ebay and play when the game had real sovl. I'm gearing up for a Scout Uruk-Hai list and I'll be playing against Galadhrim, so it should be fun.Generally speaking, you'll have fun. But if you start chasing meta lists etc then the game gets real boring, real fast.
Bloodbowl gang RISE UP!!!My game on wednesday was totally awesome
>>96328675Well you're playing an actual faction and not a meme so you'll be fine.Do keep in mind as a Southron all your cool shit is now Legends so it's a good thing you like Oliphants since that's basically all you have left. Also never buy serpent guard. Not because they're bad, but because GW charges like $38 for two. Get alternative figures instead
>>96320133How'd you make her to begin with?
>>96323901Cawdor is the trash union/cartel. They look scrappy enough too lol. >>96323931Redemptionist get shiny toys because they are funded by House Ko Iron.

Anyone have STLs for warmaster? Forest Dragon removed a ton of their stuff and I just picked up my first printer.
>>96329980Other than an oliphant box, which comes with 12 infantrymen and 1 hero, how much more would I need? Should I go for another oliphant box, or should I get infantry and cavalry separately?>Get alternative figures insteadI'll look into 3D printing whatever I cannot find.
>>96332004Only issue is, you have one cavalry hero that's not Legends: Suladan. You need him to field serpent riders, and guard/riders are your only F4.I'd recommend getting infantry after you're done with the Mumakil, since before you add cavalry you'll need them as dismounts anyways.
>>96331353FD ain't the only sculptor by a long shot. cromarty forge, greenskin minis, wakes emporium, minirat, onmioji, tordo, ankylo, varus, excellent, teremki, etc all sell files.you can ask for more on the 3DP general, but theres a ton. free stuff on thingiverse and cults3d. lots that people will share too.
I see there are some mesbg enthusiasts here, so I figure this is a good opportunity to ask some people who are hopefully better versed in the more obscure details of the lore and could point me in the right direction.I've been wondering if there were any more definitive or "official" (as in it was approved by the Tolkien estate at least, if not written or drawn by the man himself) descriptions or maybe even illustrations for the Blue Wizards than the vague "not as old as Gandalf and wearing sea-blue robes" in addition to Saruman's reference to all wizards having staves. That seems to be the extend of the information that exists, really. Some other adaption made inferences about them, but the most fleshed out version seems to be from the 1993 RPG. One was represented as a skilled hunter using and elven bow and the other as being able to trap souls, like a TES protagonist. Not sure if that is based on anything of substance though. The closest I've come to something that must have at least went through some sort of approval process was this image from an item in the Shadow of War videogame. Outside of that I didn't have much luck, even finding illustrations from John Howe or other people commonly associated with Tolkiens work. There are a lot of illustrations, but even if they are referenced on a wiki they are not usually cited with a source or any additional information.I thought converting and painting some Blue Wizard minis might be a fun modelling project, but I kind of went down a rabbit hole with this one it seems.
I made a thing to take pictures of my gang with.

7s is unironically the best way to play bloodbowlIt's basically bloodbowl condensed>almost no rerolls so you have to play smart and learn to laugh at failure>less postionals so less super stange rules>less turns so stalling (the lamest and gayest tactic evaporates) >no line of slaughter, so you actually need to plan when and how committed your fights are>games are quick so even if you are getting fucked you can easily get another swing to try againPost game league rules in death zone are scuffed but we are gonna house rule it
>>96332993Bros... I can fix her

>>96333650It's definitely good, and you can easily play 2-3 games in an evening, but I can't say best.Best is an 11s league with some good friends and a championship playoff.
Once GW have put out this anime movie bundle set and Helm, do you think that'll be it for movie tie-in releases? Is there still any hope that they'll strike while the iron is hot and make new Riders of Rohan? If not, then will they move onto redoing other ancient plastic kits, like The Last Alliance?
>>96335604>new MESBG unitsNo way, not now, not ever
>>96335604>The Last AllianceI fucking wish.
>>96335437To each there own. At least as an entry point I like it. It might also because I came from bb2 where bash ruled supreme that I really really welcome the lack of a line of slaughter
>>96335604>new figuresLol. Lmao. We're specialist game, the dev team works mostly on Old World, and expecting more than a pity hero here and there is lunacy.
>>96335729Wood elfs was by far the best team in BB2
>>96335774Thats debatable, as a chaos players smart enough to get tackle can have a lot of fun
>>96335826It's not debatable, we have 10,000+ results from tournament games. Welfs had the highest winrate throughout the entire LRB6If you're talking strictly about the fantasy TV2000 endless league bullshit where a chaos team has 1000 losses but claw pomb tackle on everything, sure all of your guys are dead
>>96335437Post pics of your leagueNot in a rude "you don't play way' but in a genuine desire to see more games posted
>>96335854I would but we play at the LGS and with the state of 40kg with people stalking other anons I'm just not comfortable posting pictures of shit in public, sorry friendo
>>96335843You got me there. I just have flashbacks to my team being 8 man fouled to death.Still in our last game of 7s chaos still managed to rape face so the loss of the line of slaughter is a good thing Imo
>>96335858>with the state of 40kg with people stalking other anonsFucking what?
>>96335860It's funny because in 7s it's harder to overcome a strength differential.I'm not knocking that you like 7s, but I would hesitate to call it the ultimate form of BBI love 7s, I love gutter bowl, and the small size of minis cuts dramatically down on action paralysis which can be huge for teaching new playersAlso it's definitely great to just run 7s with regular 11s league progression like there's no need for players to be "scouted away" from 7s or anything like that
>>96335865There's like 2-5 schizo anons who save pictures of every mini and game posted, trawl reddit endlessly, and try to dox each other, it's fucking retarded
>>96335876Thats fair. I'm just having a great time with 7s but I could totally go back to 11s. It doesn't need to be a competition >>96335881That is both lame and gay. 40k is slowing turning into a card game, and the players are slowly turning into MTG players ie the lowlest of Tabletop players
>>96335894More blood bowl is more better, there's no wrong way to playThe LOS definitely can create feels bad for new players if armour breaks turn one which can suck
>>96335604they've announced a new ent in April. Beech...something. Only thing that I heard after the botched Angmar release and the starter set.Radio silence since then. No idea if they are even gonna release that still. Similar situation as the Hill Trolls. The anime was a flop, re-tooling the game after that ruined a lot of existing army lists and the game is running on stand-by in general it seems. If the film and starter set had been a huge hit they would probably be pumping out "expert kits" for obscene prices that go out of print immediately. Guess you can't milk the Tolkien fanbase as effectively as the 40k/AoS crowd with new rulebooks every couple of months.>>96335634There are some nice Numenorean proxy models in the 3d printing side of mesbg at least

Where do the warcry rules for Snarlfang Riders come from?
>>96339176You can just use the one from Rippa snarlfang as generic, no one will complain, because Snarlfang fucking suck.
>>96334980So it is like half a vest, the underboob belt connects to a full back piece that then wraps over her shoulders. If it wasn't designed that way just to break up the fairly plain jacket all I can think is that it's to give some extra padding if you have a shield or basic pack on your back while riding.
Some new MESBG resin models are coming out next week, along with TOW and Legions Imperialis stuff.https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/ceirqemh/sunday-preview-miao-ying-raises-a-storm-in-the-old-world/

>>96346502it's a boss monster in the PvE mode.
>>96346586I just feel like a civilization destroying entity that may be the literal manifestation of death in the universe, might be a little over the top for a skirmish level game.
>>96346717It works as an end boss in a Skirmish video game like Machanium, Chaosgate, even had Mortarion as the final boss.So in the context of a final boss of a dungeon PvE mode, it works.
>>96346742Mortarion isn't a god, he just works for one.
>>96346799And current Necron lore has all the C'tan be fragments of their respective god, so it works out
>>96346717You're typically not fighting to kill it, you're normally trying to achieve objectives around boss monsters. An example would be a homebrewed mission on YouTube which is Aquilons vs Angron and his World Eaters. Killing the world eaters is essential, but once Angron spawns in, the mission shifts towards reaching objective points to escape via teleportation. The Nightbringer will just be a new boss that will have rules written for it.

>>96353090>Current rumours (grain of salt since it's from valrak who is wrong more often than not) is that the next box is Tomb Kings vs BrettoniansI sincerely hope thats wrong, only because there are also rumors that gw is going to increase the size of the pitch and I JUST printed a 7s pitch
>>96352906Option 1 is the funniest honestly, but be warned, I've used famous basketball players in the past and tabletop gamers do not typically know famous players outside of Kobe, Shaq, Le Bron and Michael Jordan.Possibly use most famous athletes in general or else you'll get people asking "who's that"
>>96353101those rumours are from a different source and they already were proved wrong because they called for a release in september which would have needed to be shown off probably july or at the least the start of august around the big warhammer reveals

>>96352803To go a little Australian on you, yeah, no. >>96353122Yeah it'll be a new book, we've been due since 2024 (2016 edition, 2020 edition, radio silence since 2024)Hopefully they just delete "wildly inaccurate" and keep the FAQ clarifications in the rules.Maybe they'll add in the bit about traits working even if a player is stunned/lost tackle zones instead of errataing them constantly to clarifiy "yes iron hard skin works if you're knocked down"
>>96353139They need to be slower with their updatesThe editions are so similar its going to be murder not to conflate them. Shit I still have some lrb6 shit in my games by honest mistake.2020 bb is honestly rock solid and doesn't need to be jazzed up
>>96353125Yes there are a small number of NEW articles on the NEW team but they are useless as the rules meta of 2020 changes every 4 months or so. You use an article written a few months after the last release and it'll be okay-ish until the next release. But the old tactics articles are written for a game that didn't change every few months and which had been stable for years to develop that tactics knowledge.Nothing like that exists for NEW vampires, it can't exist.

Speaking of Warcry, just bought and built a Centurion Marshall. He looks like he fucks
>Warcry is a cheap, relatively easy, yet engaging game with a beautifully grim aesthetic and some of the best minis ever crafted>It somehow failed>Just like Mordhein, another one of the greatest tabletop games ever madeGod damn I hate the tabletop market. It's so burdonsome being one of the few motherfuckers out there with a big penis and good tastes.
Anyone that plays Gorkamorka know what the advantage of taking a slugga over a shoota is?Sluggas are pistols that shoot closer but can be used as an additional hand weapon when in CC, granting an additional attack (IF they work / can shoot, according to the FAQ)Shootas are the longer gun kind of weapon. They have a longer range but cannot be used as an additional hand weapon. However, if I always want to take a choppa (hand weapon, +1 strength) and knives and knuckles are free (no bonus, but are hand to hand weapons)Then I see absolutely no advantage or incentive to get a choppa + slugga instead of just a better shoota then switch to Choppa + knife when in CC.Like the slugga is completely irrelevant.
>>96367346Mordheim was great for the time but it has some serious issues. I played it for years.Warcry had no depth or maybe I just was playing terrible bands. It is a great babys first skirmish though

>>96367369Slugga is a 2-in-1 shoot & fight weapon, if you carried a shoota you only have one hand free in Hand-to-hand as described in page 26& 27 of "Da Roolz" book and can't switch, the 2 weapons fighting rule only apply to model exclusively armed with pistol and/or CC weapon.

>>96319584I'm torn on oops all LL. On the one hand, people tended to want to recreate movie/book scenes anyways, and LL sort of discouraged you from taking just whatever was strongest for your faction. The one part that is a bit sad is how few upgrade choices you have access to in each. The changes to Nazghul was also sad. Overall though it has felt like mostly positive changes.Nerding the crap out of Rohan lists outside Eomer really hurt though, especially in favor of WotR shlock

>>96370080>Mordheim is just as great now as it was back thenMaybe with house rulesIgougo has only been fun in rank and flank games like whfb, where that style fits the feeling of being a general enacting a planArmor was a cruel joke without house rules we madeDuel-wielding was broken, and the game felt "solved," everyone spamming slings/duel daggersThe scenarios were broken, like ambush was a bastard to the ambushed team (didn't help I played with waac faggots) and the "underdog" mechanic didn't do much. Hell if you dude had old wound and couldn't show up his value still counted to the warband rating. Pierin himself defended that retarded rule.Blood Bowl's inducements did a much better job of balancing different teams.Don't put the game of a pedestal dude. It was good for the time and still holds up but compared to other skirmish games today its an antiquated pile of congealed pigs cum
My mumak arrived today, and I realised that the structure on top of the oliphant has no easy way to dismantle from the mount. I want to be able to detach them for easier transport. Any tips on what can I do?
>>96370121As soon as they feel sufficient profits can be made.
>>96367433>Italy
>>96372878Higher GDP than the UK
>>96370590which would be anytime now then, since Mordheim still has a large playerbase
>>96373055They've already re released Mordheim via Warcry and all those stand alone boxed sets like Cursed City.I don't think GW will ever re-release Mordheim. What they're doing is releasing minis for Mordheim, which is working because people are mostly using them for their warbands.
>>96312229Always thought the lord of the ring mass battle game was a cool idea. to bad like no one ever seems to play it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wQUIuFlasU
>>96312229Trying to pick what team I want to play with in my next blood bowl league. Who is the most fun to play out of:>Khorne>Elven Union>Tomb Kings>Chorfs
>>96378578For me tomb kingsthem trying to pick up the ball is hilarity
>>96312229you sumpdogs don't really deserve it, but what the hellgof/d/cD0sQy
So with Warcry, if I have a Warband with 7 dudes and one is a Centurion Marshall, I still need to deploy with a 3/2/2 right? The Marshall I just can't deploy by himself?
>>96380275Thanks, hive scum. This looks super complete and up-to-date. I've only had bits and pieces. Too many God damn books to keep up with. Thank you!
>>96377929WotR? It was very solid. I think it was just too much conceptual overlap with existing better-loved systems.>you want to play small battles and skirmishes in LotRMESBG did it all>you want to play big epic battles in LotRBo5A and LotR Warmaster were already a thingWotR was kinda stuck in the middle. it was the good game nobody was asking for. and since it didn't fill a need, it didn't get played.
>>96378578Khorne will get you laughter from frenzyAs much a blessing as it is a curse
Finally got the bloodborne board game. not really for the game itself, but I love the models. Think im going to add these guys to a custom warband for mordheim and my oathmark army. Having a detachment of massive religious werewolves seems rad.
>>96383105I did the same thing (not specifically for werewolves and mordheim but you know), Unfortunately the hunters aren't the proper scale for that stuff. I wish. So much stuff I could see myself using them for.
>>96383344>arent the proper scalewhat do you mean? they seem like perfectly average 28mm scale to me. maybe a bit thinner then most, but not horribly so.On the topic however, whats the process for making rules for a custom warband if anyone knows? I was thinking of using witchhunters as a base
>>96383585Are they? I should dig mine out. Last I looked they seemed notably smaller.
>>96383607Nope. here are them with oathmark minis on the left and perrys on the right. again, slimmer dimensions, but scale well regardless.
>>96383704Well shit. I've got some painting to do.
>>96383741do it! they're fun models to paint and werent as hard as I thought they might be with the details.
>>96341076I have battlefleet gothic chaos ships with antenna I can bend up to 45 degrees plus. Gotta use the right resin.
>>96384728>I have battlefleet gothic chaos ships with antenna I can bend up to 45 degrees plus>45 degrees plusGod danm
Do Warcry or Killteam have any "Summoner" crews so to speak?I know Tarantulos Brood did that type of thing from a brief search a few years back but as I understand it they're no longer playable?
>>96386798Everyone is playable in Warcry. I don't know if any other summoner types.Kill Team has none, but the Hierotek circle can revive dead models
>>96386798Tarantulo Brood didn't summon anything, they revive the dead spider, you had to spend point to bring the crappy spider, and it had to be dead, so you can bring it back.Taratulo Brood no longer on sale but they can be played.
>>96380275It expired before I could download all of it. Would you be willing to upload again?
>Kill teams players invaded our local mesbg communityRIPEven if the new mesbg edition kinda sucks I was ok playing it, but now that the game is flooded by powergamers netlisters the "old guys" all dropped the game.I will try Trench Crusade, even if the lore and mini looks very bad. Also wtf is wrong with KT players?? They all try to cheap in every possible way lmao
>>96389179Why are they coming over to MESBG?seems like an odd choice for them
Has anyone got rules printed as a book before? I'm playing a bunch of different games that need 5-10 pages of a pdf rather than a codex. I'm thinking about getting a handful of them printed together as a fake codex. It's like £35, which is about what GW would charge. Any thoughts?
>>96389676Spiral bind, test paper (the slightly glossy kind magazines print on) and a clear plastic front/back protector. Then buy a bunch of page tabs to mark out sections for fast flipping.
>>96387244>>96387269Eh. Reviving dead models is close enough to my preferred necromantic playstyle for me. Coming here from Resurrectionists in Malifaux.I'll track down the Hieroteks and the Tarantulos them. Thanks friends.
>>96390873Playing generic Soulblight Gravelords lets you do this with a necromancer/vampire and zombie or skeletons as well. It's gonna need more models from different boxes though but it should be easy enough to proxy
>>96389179Kill Team as a game entirely promotes competition and waacfagging, as there's little other way to actually play the game without homebrewing since it lacks narrative options, most of the rules are based around chess-like tactics that purely serve the mechanics rather than flavor. Despite the reputation 40k proper has, kill team is the real game that GW pushes as a competitive game, even explicitly having teams rotate out every few years so compfags have to buy new ones. KT players on average will inherently try to break rulesets and "figure them out", so that is why it looks like they're always trying to cheat. They're bringing over the approach of KT, possibly due to not having played any other types of wargames before>>96389430The cheap buy in most likely. There is a new crowd of zoomer lord of the rings fans that has emerged recently also
>>96390158Same but thick paper back cover, feels more comfortable to hold than plastic.
>>96373600>I don't think GW will ever re-release Mordheim. You're insanely stupid, then. I don't even mean that as an insult, really, it's just that if you actually believe that you're incapable of pattern recognition, deduction, analysis, etc.GW will rerelease and remake literally every product they they can for literal decades (as long as "model maker" is still a viable business). Capitalizing on nostalgia is ridiculously lucrative. Everything will eventually come back around. Mordheim, Battlefleet Gothic, firstborn marines, etc.
>>96389430it's the second biggest wargame here, and one of the cheapest
>>96391902This. To even think, for one second, that GW does not realize how popular the name "Mordheim" is... just wow. If what they come up with, to make money out of this popularity, is actually good.. That is another topic entirely.
Where the fuck is the Servitor Battleclade standalone box??
>>96394006You forgot your medications again, anon.
>>96390158>>96391534Yeah why the spiral bound other than price? They always seem a bit annoying to me. Open to hearing any ideas/thoughts you have I just thought I'd do it paperback like the 3rd ed dexes. Got most of the stuff I currently play into a 72page pdf, really tempted to get one done with 40k/epic/bfg ork lists. Big book of greenskins, none of the filler.
>>96395313Glue bindings break, every time you open the book you damage a glue binding more.Spiral bind doesn't do that, also lays flat when open.
>>96395900This, I've spiral bound actual official books when the binding fell apart.
>>96317250So let me recap it for you.>Show is a shit.>Anime is shit.>Figure is shit.Well.. GW is on point again.
Another saturday, another friend to show bloodbowl
>>96395274Posting a picture of the kill team is not an indication that they've been released as a standalone purchase separate from Typhon.
>>96399285https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/g9yodfir/sunday-preview-dare-you-enter-the-tomb-world/They're in preorder this week, take your med now.
>>96324025You could probably write lore for some Orlock who handle it as well or even Goliath.
>>96399294You can't make me.
>>96391534I can wipe finger grease off a plastic cover.
>>96396093I've never done that, don't have too any official books for games though. When I like a game enough I'll get an optimized rules document together, usually a fan project like for necromunda or epic, then I'll go looking for a nice piece of art to use as a front cover and have it printed off for more convenience and permanence than just using the pdf's on my phone.
I played my first tabletop game of blood bowl in 15 years tonight dudes. I won 2-1 against a nurgle team after some skaven shenanigans. Was pretty fun
!!!WARCRY LIVES!!!https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/r8cdyjiv/a-massive-warcry-update-paves-the-way-for-the-helsmiths-of-hashut/
>>96400303Never been an issue for me (my sweat can practically strip the paint of anything though).>>96400321And that's when spiral binding comes into play. I understand some people go the extra mile and make it hardback, but I've always found them more cumbersome to use.
>>96402156That's wild, I was sure they'd take it to the chopping block one of these days. Glad I guessed wrong. Also, fuck yeah, options for a witchhunter warband.
>>96402156It's in the best possible place, still alive, but only slow, small incremental changes
>>96402156I never had any fear, but I am glad they managed to get a range update for some new models. Does anyone know if I should bother buying Krethusa yet
>>96402156Holy shit, now we have warband rule that require activation. I hope they ditched this dumb ability dice shit and went with traditional unit sheet if they made a new edition. It was created to cater to really retarded players who refuse to read long paragraph and the cost of activation was the way to balance it, making it "competitive". it ended up failing at both : the text got really long, spread out between multiple different tiny sub-faction and the game definitely not balance and no one gave a shit about competitive warcry.
>>96402156I guess I picked a good time to learn how to play.
>>96403541Yes the best time to learn a game is the moment GW remembers that it exists and begins releasing sweeping changes every few months for 5 years straight. You always want to wait until rules start changing piecemeal on an irregular basis with no long term plan for the end state of those changes that are coming from a company that does not playtest. It would have been terrible for you to learn how to play during the time that GW forgot about the game and left it to be an unchanging stable product, who the fuck could learn how to play in such an environment?
>>96358411>>96358416Rad. People need to intigrate crowds into terrain like this more. adds so much character.
>>96388360it was from a fellow in the last sharethread, i'm sure he'd be amenable to a request

>>96403541>>96403258Its a super easy game to learn. I wish it had more teeth but if you wanted to get a kid or girlfriend into miniatures its pretty much a perfect gateway drug

Surprised there's been no Heretek or Xenarite kill team yet. Feels like a perfect smaller under-represented group within the setting to make a box out of.
