I have been playing and running this game a lot for the past twelve months. Two of the strongest builds I have seen, a hakaan null (metakinetic) and a hakaan fury (either berserker or reaver), are so powerful in part because they can generate plenty of collision damage. They scale into the higher levels, too; for example, a null's Dynamic Power applies to their Gravitic Disruption, which was clarified during a Q&A stream to apply 1/creature/turn.

The most dangerous enemies I have seen are those that can generate plenty of collision damage. An arixx is dangerous because its Claw Swing can vertical slide 3, and I have seen this repeatedly spammed to cause a TPK. Lord Syuul has a 2-Malice spend on his Tentacle Grab which likewise deals heavy collision damage. (Also, he can use a maneuver to pull up PCs to his flying position and then drop them.) When I ran Lord Syuul in my four-player, level 5 game, Tentacle Grab spam nearly overwhelmed the party.

Conversely, I have seen enemies with high Stability prove to be a major obstacle just because they can resist forced movement so well.

It feels to me like forced movement is undervalued and underbudgeted by the system as a whole. It is handed out relatively cheaply, and yet it can be weaponized into a whole lot of damage.

Hakaan are size 1L, so anything size 1M (e.g. humans, orcs) is smaller than them, activating the Big Versus Little rule.

Besides that, a 2nd-level null (metakinetic) has Inertial Sink. It makes them bigger than nearly everyone for many advantageous purposes (including Big Versus Little), and makes them resist forced movement collision damage.

Hakaan Forceful adds +1 forced movement, and Big Versus Little adds another +1 to melee weapon abilities, such as Knockback. Ratcatcher (Everybody Move!) makes their Knockback target three creatures (because remember, Inertial Sink practically makes them bigger than everyone else for this purpose), and being a metakinetic null means they can Knockback as part of Inertial Shield. If they have at least 2 discipline stored, their Knockback also adds +Intuition to the distance.

All of this is before Gravitic Disruption, which is yet another source of forced movement. Indeed, Inertial Shield into Knockback can trigger Gravitic Disruption all off-turn, and Gravitic Disruption is 1/creature/turn, so it can trigger again during another turn.

A hakaan null is not even some unusual concept. The iconic null is a hakaan.

It is not just a null who can do this. A fury can do something similar as well.

I'm not particularly interested in Draw Steel, but I do think forced movement collision damage adds another tactical layer for making combat more engaging, so I have my own methods of doing so in my games.

An arixx is a solo monster, so you would field only one of them. Furthermore, unless you are dealing with Agility 0, Stability 0 characters, you want to use the vertical slide 3 to slam PCs into the ground for object-based collision damage:
