Guys I need some dogshit winter/cold weather designs for a cyberpunk/cassette futurism comic I'm working on. And by dogshit, I mean clothes and whatever augments that would be worn by an average tasteless retard on the street, not some daddy's fashion diva. Augments/chrome is fine, but if possible, kept on minimum. These people shouldn't have money.
>>96430028If I'm being honest, you're gonna kinda be in a shit spot for proper "FUCK OFF COLD" unless you're trying to go after a specific movie or property's style. I went crawling through a bunch of old Lost Planet stuff and could only really find screencaps from character customization; but if it's for inspiration it might help some. The jist of what makes this difficult is that most good insulators are high quality material; which means that the poor and downtrodden are going to have to make due with what's left. What's good about Lost Planet stuff is all their clothes are lined with basically electrical heaters which makes a lot of sense; but since they're cheap, you have to rely on bulk to keep the heat in. That's why I like this dude with his goofy ass huge puff-diamond sleeves.Maybe I'll take another crack at it later, but that's one way to go with it.
>>96430165Not fuckoff cold but I realized most cyberpunks refs I dug up are summerfaggotry combined with some high fashion shit and I need civilian clothing ideas for everyday tasteless man in colder environments like Detroit. Stuff that makes you say "I would never wear that" but then you realize all your other clothes have holes and you already look like shit.
I thought character art threads were banned on /tg/?
>>96437294nope, there's usually 2 or 3 of them active at the same time
Not that I would imagine techwear or anything will actually gain traction, but I imagine what some of these clothes would look like on real people and can't imagine it going well at all let alone some little old lady with some techwear sneakers/jackets or whatever.
>>96430061Art Deco Cyberpunk is oddly uncommon despite Metropolis still being a somewhat well-known film
