either somebody is lying about being the oldest - which is not dwarflike - or theyre just not respecting him being the oldest, which is also not dwarflike
>>
>>96464030
>which is not dwarflike
it's very chaos-like tho

the whole text is so hilariously biased towards hashut, the father of darkness, the demonsmith, and god of tyranny, having done nothing wrong ever that you can only take it as genuine if you're retarded or if you're also role-playing as someone similarly biased as a chaos dwarf.

>Only a final gambit of Valaya – an act so base that none shall speak of it – saw his physical form sundered, even as she, too, passed from our people’s sight.
What could be something base and embarrassing to recall? Could she have hugged him? Is hashut an incel?
>>
>>96463958
>this is clearly biased, but what is false and what's true?
no bias. Hashut just did nothing wrong ever, and anything he might have done wrong didn't matter, and it was probably your fault anyway

hmmm, well with the new reveals I would think this would actually confirm either

>OBR gets some broken realms style release later this edition
>OBR gets a larger than normal wave
>OBR is the 5e starter, and the mortek pictured is a pity foot hero

If the four factions above are for the first 4 months of next year or whatever, then I would think only one of them would get a big box style release, and I'm leaning toward ogors.

Nurgle is supposedly getting a bigger than normal style release, but that might just be a foot hero + whatever comes out of a new warhammer quest game than a big box.

I mean whatever can happen, just think it's rare to see factions get more than one model released for a book, not be a big box, and it's not endless spells/terrain. Last time that happened I believe was nighthaunt?

slightly off topic, but i wish i liked Sig-Nurgle as much as i do 40k Nurgle. Maggotkin gets so close to scratching that "lumbering but deceptively capable warriors" itch for me, but I think I just prefer the gas masks, hoods, and zombies of Death Guard.

>>
>>96464596
Getting big releases back to back is not impossible. Even just this year we had Gitmob-Soulblight, and then IDK/KO next with both getting more than a single hero.

Also worth keeping in mind, that Dawnbringers kicked off last edition with 4 "Harbringer" Heroes for Fyreslayers, Nurgle, Gits, and FEC. FEC got their big wave in Dawnbringers, Gits got Trugg and later Gitmob, but Fyreslayers and Nurgle have so far not gotten expanded yet.

Yeah, I take this one as a hype teaser as opposed to a hard roadmap.(And all of them are actually quite hype, none of these armies have been meaningfully expanded since their OG battletomes)

I would say I'm more interested in the OBR tome if it becomes more complex or has depth. Getting rid of the auras would be nice it doesn't really make sense with an elite army and with the fluff.

The army right now is too smooth brained, now that Khorne left a vaccuum open for a techy combat army I want OBR to inherit it as it should. Death books (until this edition) have always had more unique rules or skewed toward that direction.

Ossiarchs are always talked about in the lore as being insanely coordinated and pulling off military ploys other armies are incapable of doing. Mortek purposefully taking a dive so kavalos could charge over them was the best part of end of enlightment.
>>

To be fair, there hasn't been any new gluton or bull in ages, but I understand your fear of GW fucking up a rework. But also things not designed around square bases would be pretty nice, but I can see why you don't want them to fuck with the army. Now the question is, would you rather GW never touches any of the old stuff and just makes new stuff assuming any rework they do is gonna be shit?

Could be a stretch but Hashut probably represents a long-standing tyranny, a one made of unshakable foundations and immovable leaders (they LITERALLY become immovable) while the GHR represents an ever shifting tyranny. The slave of yesterday may be the master of today may be a corpse tomorrow. Their war machines kinda also represent that. Chorfs have sturdy and reliable machines while Skaven have nukes on wheels

Sharing the Warp at the same time between the 2 dimensions and timeline is retard. Its what Blizzard did in Warlords of Draenor with the demons and Twisting Nether and then deleted it because it was super dumb

No, no, the horus heresy wheel pitched vashtorr/hashut domain as diametrically opposite to morghur's

the enmity between rat and shit has probably to do with the fact they're the only new guys around
it's also somewhat parallel to the one between vashtorr and belakor

but gods can have multiple nemesis, think about khorne, everyone knows his main hate-crush is slaanesh, but noone looks at the antimagic man and says he's on good terms with the magic man

I have an autistic headcanon trying to piece together the inconsistencies between these things, the realms, and the winds
the conclusion is that the inconsistencies are the chaos that the old ones saw and wanted to fix, and their great plan is about rearranging the nature of magic, the relations of the spheres, and the domains of the gods until everything is in order, while chaos is working to warp everything into their own nonsensical rivalries
by my last schizoautistic drawings, the war is currently happening at a moment where chaos has in disarray 4 points of the cosmic die

>>96466603
By my experience, the people who say they don't like it have issues where they think the connection devalues the importance of whatever part of the setting they like by reaching conclusions like
>well those guys then can come up at any time and wipe the floor
>well that means whatever happens on this side is unimportant
but neither of these is true
>>
Wait, people are taken something that happened in WHF 20 years ago (surely like a fun gag, like Diablo things inside Warcraft games) still like canon?
People please. Forget half of the things that happened 15 or more years ago. Its all retconnected and rewritten.
>>
>>96466654
for me it's like... the chaos gods of 40k and AoS feel vastly different and to say they're the same dudes in both worlds kinda feels off.
>>
>>96466665
GW haven't even cemented AoS canon yet after ten years, of course it's irrelevant
>>
>>96466627
because they're symbols for winds, if there's one fundamental description of a wind, is movement, so they're all arrows

but 4 of them are actually also circles and the division between arrows and circles matches which winds go in the yin half and which winds are their opposite and go in the yang side (with chamon and aqshy being atypical because the former looks like a circle but is actually an arrow, while the latter looks like an arrow but is actually a circle)
most winds also symbolise other stuff
>azyr, the twin tailed comet
>ulgu, the sword of judgement
>shyish, the scythe of the reaper
>aqshy, the key
>hysh, the wind that rises above the wheel
>>
One day GW will hire a person who is admiring other stuff then Nurgle... One day...
Only Nurgle is done with passion and love.
>>
>>96464427

>>
>>96466721

>>
>>96466685
In what way, they personalities are more or less the same, 40k jsut focuses on homosexual family drama with the gods being only side characters
>>
>>96466685
But you most probably have absolutely no problem accepting that a certain god within the same universe ends up being seen in vastly different ways

it's the same deal with the perception between the two settings, neither is the more correct one
