I love 930ct long boxes for board/card games but I have about a dozen of them on my shelf and I now require a better way to store them. The bookshelf is just not sufficient, too much wasted space between shelves. Too many stacked boxes. Any advice?
At some point, we all must question whether it's time to get rid of some of those cards.I have some several tens of thousands of cards, and I just keep them in all in large wooden box. All the rares, some 3,000+ of them, are kept in a smaller box. While I have some vague feelings of nostalgia for some of the commons and uncommons, and they all act like a record of my Magic journey, the vast majority are worthless. Were I to sell them in bulk, I might be able to get $100 for all of them, if I were lucky. I will almost certainly never use them in any deck, and the real reason I bother keeping them is because I have enough space where I don't need to worry about a box in a closet. If I ever came to a point where I no longer had space, I probably would just "gift" them to a friend, random child on the street, or sanitation worker. The rares though... While the vast majority of them are $0.10 rares that I could bundle by the hundred and maybe get $5 for, there's definitely several hundred that I could sell for quite a pretty penny. Basically, they're my "If I ever need 1000 bucks fast and have no other way of getting it" emergency fund.
>>96489659Stop buying magicslop, you fucking whale
>>96489931Get an app and scan all those rares. I recently got my "magic box" out from my parents house where it sat since 2014 and all of those rares and foils were worth $15k. I didn't even scan the commons and uncommons that were in boxes like OP.

How about old filing cabinet or apothecary/pharmacy cabinet? Those for paperwork were made all the way into 80s, medical ones are still being made nowadays. Many small drawers, often with built-in labeling system. Should serve your purpose just fine.
>>96489933Less than a quarter of these boxes contain magic. Most of them are starter boxes for various card games like l5r, netrunner, vtm, ashes etc>>96492421Damn son that looks perfect
I also came across this, obviously pretty cheap looking Anyone have experience with these?
