>Find a hexcrawl map that's perfect for the campaign you want to run>The hexes do not align with Roll20's Hex(V)
>>96489877Cant you just stretch the map pixel by pixel until they do?
>>96489877>find a square grid map that's perfect for the campaign you want to run>the grid is projected at an angle to match the image's depiction of depth
Make your own maps, there are many tools available. If you need to add a visual element just attach a little jpg on the side you dug up from the internet someplace that resembles the location.
Try using Foundry instead
>using mapsOOF.
>>96489877>>96490587Teach yourself basic image editing so you can scale it to the right size, retards.
>>96491353How's life in the 7th grade?
>>96489877Ungridded chads win yet again.
>>96489877I've run into this issue a lot. But, if you get it close enough and then turn off the grid, you can place your tokens in the hex/square and it'll be perfectly playable.
>>96491389You ought to scale it in roll20, its easier and faster
>>96489877That's what you get for using a shitty VTT such as Roll20
>>96491404how's being a dumb clueless nigger LOL
>>96490587>>96489877>The developer provides a map of the dungeon in the quest book>It’s great>They do not provide a high-resolution version at the end>The squares on the VTT do not align with the walls and pathways provided unless you blow up the image until every chamber is 30 yards.YOU EITHER DIE A HERO OR LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO BECOME A VILLAIN.
>Roll20
>>96489877You do realize you can just make the image fit?
What's your hex map of? Using these for a Space Battles campaign. Small hex map is tied into the campaign turns, large hexes are for the actual space battles. Cute light ruleset, works on hexes just as well as a grid as far as I can tell.
>10 level, 15 sublevel megadungeon with over 2,100 rooms>high quality GM maps and blank maps for VTT use are provided>VTT maps have zero inconsistency, going from way too large to way too small in the adjacent column>community members started recreating the maps to fix inconsistencies>community maps incomplete and just as inconsistent with sections of the same level redrawn at different scales
>>96494428>What's your hex map of?Lustria. I want to run a proper hex-crawl where the PCs can explore the jungle, kill Lizardmen, and loot temple-cities.
>>96491389You can't change the square grid's 3-d projection by scaling the 2-d image retard.
>>96489877Ngl I've stopped using roll20's grids altogether if the image already has one. Just size the tokens to match the size of the tiles, them snapping into place isn't that important.
>>96494701>he doesn't know how free transform worksThis is why you need to learn basic image editing, retard.
>>96494675>youareamanofculture.jpgNice map and campaign aspirations. 10/10 would die in the jungle with.
>>96494718Yeah, that's the most prudent option. I guess I got tunnel-vision on trying to get the hexes to align that I forgot I can just turn the grid off and move people grid-by-grid.>>96495753Thank you! I'm quite excited for the campaign, I've been binging Black Sails to really get that "lusty Caribbean" aesthetic down. The primary antagonist will be a Vampire Conquistador under authority of Luthor Harkon to seek lizard trinkets in the area. Classic set-up, aye?
