apart from their ability to adapt to other cultures, there's really not much going for them is there? Their religion is a bigger turd than their bellies can hold. the characters are whatever, and even their ties to cathay just makes cathay more interesting, not them.

It's based. They're an entire race of middle-school bullies that got their growth spurt early and use it to torment everyone else.
