From what I've read it looks like they're going for Vivi, personally without the cauldron interaction I think it's a card on the level of Raffine. Maybe I'm just retarded. But even if you think the bigger issue is Vivi, it makes some sense to keep the most recent rare alive and banning UB cards doesn't send the best signal for future UB partners (it may still need to happen, it happened with The One Ring, but who knows if there's internal pressure about that).

Cauldron can be annoying but you see it coming, you know what the dangerous turns are and make peace with it. I'll say I've been annoyed by spell pierce, like it harms me emotionally but often I don't even end losing those games. I guess the most annoying maybe something like dimir (the usual enduring curiosity version, not dimir control), like I often feel like my opponent has more agency over the game than me and I can be tricked into misplays but the games have a nice rythm IDK.
