So.What if a traitor ship from the great crusades suddenly comes out of the warp in current era, they are still loyal and from before the HH.
>>96567943>what does 80% of the HH model owners do with their models if they can't find a HH game and 40k players are around
>>96567962SIGHT.SOMEHOW.LOYALIST SPACE MARINESHAVE APPEARED
>>96567943Judging by the aquila, I don't think that's a good example. However to answer your point it depends on where. If they appear anyway away from an inquistional asset or a modern chapter they are likely going to go unhindered as the majority of the imperium will likely just go:>oh here are space marines of some bum fuck chapter we never heard of, hopefully they will lend us a hand in our time of needAnd then it's a case of the legion trying to not go insane with the sheer amount of cultural/historical whiplash that comes with being in the 41st millenium. However, with their old gear they are going to need to approach a forgeworld and that is going to get nasty very quickly. If it is not a frontier world with little to no communication, with NO OTHER chapters droppong by, the legion might be able to get armaments with some haggling in return for protection or service of the system. But if they carry lost tech, that's going to be reported to other worlds if not outright forced to hand that shit over. This is again assuming it's a frontier forgeworld, because if it wasn't, or if they came across a modern chapter, or any official imperial agents with the ability to check chapter founding records, their fucked. Royally fucked. They are a traitor legion in imperial space with a fully equipped force, the inquistion or imperial army shoot and ask questions later if the admech doesn't turn up and kill them for their tech first. Their only hope is if an inquistor somehow hears them out first, and then take the fucking gamble of the century to take them at their word and try to convince everyone else to not kill them on sight but instead go through the labourus task of intergrating them into a new chapter, cover up their history along with black bagging any witnesses. The odda are not in their favor to say the least.
>>96568165>If it is* a frontier world with little to no communication
>>96567943This happened before with some lost Luna Wolves who had fucked by a Warp storm before the Chapter had even become the Sons of Horus and came back way later, after the Heresy. Long story short, they all got shuffled into the Deathwatch very quietly.
>>96567943If they were loyal to the emperor an the ideals of the great crusade they'd probably go to war with the Imperium as much as they would against any other xeno faction or chaos
>>96567943same thing that happened to the 70 loyalist Death Guard who made it back to Terra during the Heresy.....'whelp you're a Black Shield now.....'
