Some anons were angry with it for increasing the cost of elite units but we got more points to compensate. Aside from that, 90% of builds took Elitism and the homogeny was painful to see, so I understand why he rebalanced. A few anons kept complaining about the power of the enemy but he confirmed several times that their uber-elite units are few in number and almost irreplaceable, whereas you can summon more of your own in a matter of hours if you have the essence for it. It's the classic fantasy trope of the forces of good (in this case, the goddesses) being far stronger and far fewer in number, compared to the forces of evil (You) being much more numerous and hierarchal. None of these anons took into account that your personal strength is vastly superior to your own elite units at the start, at your very weakest, and will only increase as you continue conquering and holding territory. With all of that power, while being immortal and respawning, I don't see how defeat is inevitable like they continuously keep claiming unless the plan is to sit in a hole and wait for their minions to do everything on their own, without synergies or support to bolster them.

The second thing I noticed after an initial examination - Ota needs to die no matter what. 0^0 is a problem who sends armies my way, here it is at least possible to do something or hide. Ota wants to instakill me, my mother and all of our race no matter where we are, so all the decisions afterwards were built around the consequences of the "Gank Ota first" plan. To do it with a guarantee I need to take her as a companion, but just murdering her and going on my merry way is wasting a ton of points. Why not turn the tables on her? Iotated Ouk ensures Ota's spirit will be consumed by someone and Seo helping me to get rid of her is thr original creator of the demonic ghosts and my mentor, so we can do with the Khepri expy what Baf and Tamura do with others. Namely, turn into a spirit, mindwhipe and consume for her unique power. Glagoli on Seo so she saves me if anything goes wrong.Now that I have a weapon that actually works on 0^0 there is no need to go the normal Outsider way of building a kingdom/saving Doria/digging for secrets or anything like that. I just need one opportunity to get close then make it count. To do this, everything I have needs to work in Ecumene and somehow facilitate my success on a lifelong infiltration mission. First is, of course, Rhucuphre with Shta. Hiding from Charlie till the last possible moment is my only chance and Shta makes sure I master this skill completely. Don't care if she lives or dies, one problem at a time. Ielziaseh's masquerade is unlikely to work well amidst the antimagic, but every little bit counts. At least it'll help in concealing demonic features.

So to bypass most of the dampening I can grant them Majin letters with Spirit Tap and use the resulting abilities myself, even if pinning down exactly the right effect might be tricky. My own Letter also works in Ecumene, so infusing it into Grim Outlook and leaving seemingly innocous mind influencing items around is a very effective way to nudge both people and fate. 0^0's teachings allow to use such small things to its max potential.The last bit is the dreamfuckery, a lot of it and in increasingly dangerous ways. Hope Ust's teachings are good enough to give me a chance. Upunth's technique of "let your dreams influence reality" isn't magic, so it should work amidst mathemagicians too. And due to the Eye of Fore x3 I lug around a lot of dreams of what could have been around, letting them influence the real outcomes sounds well within a realm of possibility. As is, for example, creating copies of people from these dreams with Thaumiel's method, temporary overlaying roles from there with Ielziaseh's tricks and other ways to utilize such a massive dreamscape, even if it gets more and more messy. This also works as a plot hook too, since finally getting to the Pillars (aka reality's control terminal) sounds like one of the few reasonable way to fix whatever would be happening in my head from all the rewinds, possesions and dreams by the end of it.
