Ngl, If Imperial fists paint scheme didnt look like radioactive dogshit they would probably be my favorite Founding
They're the only Founding that was completely wiped out at one point, interestingly enough.
>>96584798I wonder who we have to thank for that?
>>96584786You just don't see the vision
>>96584803I blame Sigismundnot because he had anything to do with it, but because I hate him
>>96584786Do you like crimson fists?
>>96584786Do a successor chapter of them that's closely aligned with their values? You can do one in the 1st or 5th company, or hell, even 4th so that way it isn't just neon yellow, bright red with some black. There's also ways to paint them with a more muted yellow that doesn't hurt the eyes as much. They don't need to be painted the way they were here.
>>96585114Crimsons Fists are really cool, but I dont like the gimmick ironically enough. The fist not being the same color irks me
>>96584786Do the black with yellow highlights scheme
>>96584786Oh look, a thread with so little content that it should have been a comment in a general. And from a 40fag. How surprising.
>>96586437>Janitor applications are now being accepted. Click here to apply.
>>96586124Anon that's Heresy-era only
>>96584786Do Lamenters or Marines Malevolent if you want a superior yellow chapter.
>>96584786i have the same problem. just create your own chapter for hobbying purposes; the dorn lineage was genetically designed to suffer, /yourdudes/ let's you focus on specific aspects of suffering
>>96584798>The IF's Primaris Reinforcements are actually the real Imperial Fists.
>>96585139What is their gimmick?
>>96587491>primaris lore>GW needed to retcon their timeline before their introductory trilogy was completed>Dawn of Fire is actively avoided since Wolf TimeEra Indomitus is still in canonical limbo since most people have more critiques of it than have adopted aspects into their accepted head canon.
>Introduced in a board game, meant to be potrayed as a yellow equal to Blood Angles and Ultramarines>completely failed to take off>nowadays is less popular even its own successor chapters (Black Templars are part of the big 5 and even Crimson Fists are more popular with boomers)What went wrong?
>>96587597Yellow is hard to paint so it's a labor of love and a way to flex on other gamers. If you just want to get a 2K army on the table in a couple months you end up painting something easy like Ultrasmurfs or Iron Warriors.
>>96587597>yellow is not a popular color>yellow was a difficult color before modern contrast paints>they had no interesting lore until the HH>even more vanilla than CF, not edgy like BTit's not a mystery, but GW did try to make them a thing several times
>>96584786What a retarded thing to say. The only reason to like Fists IS their paint scheme. Bright garish yellow is eye-catching.
>>96584798Yeah but theres no actual difference between the successor chapters and the original one except for the colour of the armour, the gene-line is still there. >>96587597Yellow is a very difficult colour to paint both well and consistently, the IF also dont have much character. The BT have their own theme, and the CF predate the IF, also the CF were the 3rd edition codex posterboys and the BT had the 3rd edition starter set. They both have some of the best art in the setting as a result.
>>96587491I am glad you're joking but just for the other anons that think this happened, it didn't. The Fist Exemplar(which were canonically unpainted btw) changed their colors to become the IF alongside their Chapter Master.
