I've been interested a while in AOS and I'm curious about the overlords and lizardmen. How do they play, are they at least fun? The goal is to play with friends so casual games means being objectively strong isn't as important

I personally really wish they would take time and refresh plaguebearers, daemonettes and bloodletters cause they desperately need and deserve it

So that boole character posted again today, clarifying some of what he said earlier in regards to the planned Dispossessed refresh during 3rd and tow kinda getting in the way of that. According to him the tow team was pretty small, especially in comparison to aos' launch where they basically pumped out new armies for 5 years straight. They only had enough people to work on new bret and tomb king stuff for the starter box. So they "handpicked" a few models/concepts from aos that "weren't really central to it" and worked on them. He gives the example of tows new dwarf releases essentially being tweaked aos NuDispossessed, but also that those will be coming to aos soon enough.To me this seems a little strange, kind of conflicts with his earlier posts that aos was planning a whole dorf and beasts refresh during the season of war stuff but it got scrapped last minute. That doesn't really seem "not central" to me? After looking at what new units dwarfs got in tow they also don't really look aosy to me, they're also very distinctly in the more "blocky" style of tow releases. Same with cathay imo. Maybe the thane with dragon cloak, that I could see. I guess we don't really know what tweaked means here, could just be that they got some concept art and model skeletons sent over.So yeah take with a grain of salt.

Once you douse something with it it can be removed using white spirit (just make sure you do a 1:1 mix with enamel oil + white spirit before applying it to not overdo it) then use a qtip or brush dampened with white spirit to carefully remove itAK streaking grime is a good starting point, if you start to adore it then you can always use Villainy Ink oils which are an upgradeAgain its not a must your mini looks great, but I feel like it would make it even more of a raw Nurgle experience
