Depends what they're doing.
If you did a sort of Brother Cadfael mystery thing, you could do it with GUMSHOE.
If it's a resource-gathering survivathon you probably want a board game. Reign has company rules, if you're going to village scale?
If it's just very low-level D&D shenanigans, there's a million options and you need more specifics about the things you like.
If you're waiting for winter to end and your grain stores are depleted, use Ten Candles.
